I think this method is best use an ice Wyvern to blast ice at it slowing it down very much then hop off walk up to it while it's still trying to run and feed it a Flower it's all yours beware 50+ any lower ice blast kills it

Looks and sounds nearly the same as archaeopteryx, but don’t get fooled because these will not run from u.

Much more annoying than Ichthyornis in my opinion. Been pounced by these many times off of my Baryonyx and nearly got shredded by a Compy gang. Their small size (barely larger than a Compy) doesn’t help either.

Bola it and hit few times in the head with tranc arrows or darts. 1 rare flower tames any level.

Use a Mastercraft crossbow, and have someone stand watch while you tame, oh and have your melee set to 200 or higher

The most annoying tame in ark. I was in the redwoods on lost island with my maewing and then out of nowhere this rat came out of nowhere and stunned me while 2 packs of monkeys joined and killed me. It took me like so long to find my dead body and my almost dead maewing 😑

Alright it sounds like a lot of people don’t know how to teach the little birdie a lesson on who’s boss.

Now I’ll start with how to spot it before it spots you.

1. They’ll pretty much always be in the redwoods. They’ll be walking on the ground with they’re wings at their sides. Sometimes you’ll see them running away from you, that’s when you know they’re busy being preyed upon by a wild dino. If you find them first, kill them first.

If this is not the case you will need to know how to fight it.

If they see you they will charge. When they get to you they will start flying around your head. You could be on a giga and it would attack. It will circle two times before it boots you off your mount. So you will need to kill it before it strikes, or you can run 30 feet away then turn around and bite back.

This is how not to get killed by a very naughty bird.

Aim directly up and when it passes hit it with a ranged weapon

Good Luck. I must say if you see these things running at you at the speed of light you have about half a second to get away before you get knocked off your mount and stunned. I just so happened to get knocked off by an Alpha raptor once.

When you are riding a mount and you see one, unmount. In most cases, it will aggro on you, and you can bola and tranq. No need to worry about your mount getting stunlocked to death. One rare flower and it's yours!

Keep a prim longneck, tranq darts, bolos, and a stack of flowers on your flyer so you can easily tame these as soon as you see one; otherwise, goodluck trying to find one that you spotted because by the time you get back to where you saw it, it’s halfway across the map.

This demon use it very well and also if your have a bronto tank harassing your tribe and there’s are seeing hole send the demon in and they lose there pilot if they have no emergency pilot and all crew are using turrets

I absolutely love getting stunned by these because it's like a jumpscare.

Everytime I encounter one it's always near a Rex or a Carno

If you are on a server and have a buddy or 2 have someone ride on a mount waiting for them to attack and have you and or someone else with bolas and tranq arrows or tranq darts to nock them out, rare flowers tame them SUPER SUPER fast.

Gigas are useless they still find a way to stun and once they do the giga can’t catch it then the micro raptor kills giga

I got some Problems to find them.... they look like archas and are so small.....
