If you put them on wandering they'll pick up berries. When you put it on your shoulder it throws poop at your enemy and the poop does damage and slows down the target

They can ride in your shoulder. Having a monkey while sailing in your pirate ship is strangely satisfying. 😎

Utility Roles for Mesopithecus:

Pet. A cute monkey boi to travel with you on your shoulder or a friendly face to come home to. (level Health)

Shoulder Combatant. It flings poop at your enemies which slows them. Handy in a pinch but doesn't do that much damage. ( level Melee Damage)

Berry Gatherer. YEET this boi at bushes and he will collect berries. Not a lot of berries but something is better than nothing. (level Weight)

If you put stuff in its inventory like eggs or materials and then put it on your shoulder it will weigh less than it would with the items in your own inventory making it perfect to cook kibble fast

How to rule the sea:

Step 1. Tame Monkey

Step 2: Build boat

Step 3: Put Cloth Hat on said Monkey

Step 4: Sail the seas with your pirate monkey.

Have troubles of disconnecting and dying and not being able to find your loot? Tame a high level with tons of health and place and tracker on it. It should remain by your body.

Cover a tamed one in c4, set it to agressive, and hurl that hoe into your neighbor's yard.

Despite what others have said, they do NOT throw arrows.

These dudes are quite useful. But even more useful in multiplayer. If you manage to get them inside a base they can unlock doors during raids. And they can throw poop! You can also equip them with hats which looks better on them than hoomans.

Shoulder turret. If you wistle aggressive, neutral, or attacking target while they are on your shoulder, they will throw poop at your target.

Good for Pvp severs if you can tame high level preferable 100+ as they can unlock doors from entering a open window

They will throw poop at enemies (I'm serious) Also you can put hats or helmets on them.

Monke is the best he throws poo at bad guys

I just tested this, but if you set them on wandering and throw them at a patch of bushes/bamboo shoots or whatever, they can actually gather a decent quantity of berries and seeds. Just be sure to clean their inventory so they can continue and then pick them up and throw them at a new patch of shrubs! Simple as that! Hopefully people find this useful

Put one on your shoulder and whistle aggressive in caves, it lets you know if something spawned behind you with its alarm.
