I got 150 chiten from a spider with this instead of 20 with a pick. If your in a map where you can't steal cementing paste from beavers use a doedicures to get the stone and this to get the chiten.

The easiest way me and my brother do it is placing a large bear trap down Agro it then quickly place metal billboards around it then start pelting it with tranqs

I would recommend fighting the broodmother with these guys they are much easier to tame than a rex they spawn in the snow area which is very dangerous I recommend using a wyvern or a quetzal to pick them bringing them to a safe area trust me if you imprint a army the brood mother would not be a problem not even a alpha one because they have that bug buff which deals even more damage DON’T go for a rex these guys are a better option they much easier to tame up so many people should know❤️👍

In early to mid game these are one of the best ground mounts even if it's low level they are relatively easy to tame and can even beat rexes when they have the bug buff

Can be carried by a quetz and a wyvern. Can attack your mount while being carried if it's facing in the direction of it and can be tamed using honey. Drop it in with a quetz or wyvern and tranq away. Eats honey pretty slowly but very decent efficiency off of it.

TRAP IDEA:

Items needed:

6 stone foundations

10 stone door frames

2 wooden ramps

General trap:

Place the 6 foundations 3 on each side

Then put the doorframes on the outside of the the foundation you then need to put the two ramps on two of the door ways so the megatherium walks up it when you agro it. Get out of the trap and tranq!.

*BEWARE KEEP OUT OF ITS MELEE DISTANCE IT WILL DESTROY YOU*

Use 3 metal billboards and a large bear trap to tame. Super easy and effective. Place two at a 45 degree angle w bear trap in corner. Agro w argie, trap it, place 3rd billboard and BOOM - K.O!!

If your aiming to get a more utility versed Megatherium the efficiently pump melee and weight. The more melee the Megatherium has the more chitin its able to collect, and weight so you can carry extra.

Wait for bug buff to wear off before shooting it save urself some darts

Can only be found in dungeons in mobile

just be careful with these guys, their torpor-run is very fast and they still need quite a lot of tranqs even after they start running

This thing is practacly god. God himself fears this thing when it kills an ant. It has eyes of rage when it kills a bug. All those time you were on a beach being chased by a level 134 flying ant, with this thing your reverse the roles.

Honestly very cute, not too hard to tame, they can sit, and their face looks like a hairy horse

Honey works as well as mutton to tame and almost as good as kibble, trap in pen and starve tame with honey, a very powerful tame and easy, works well for dire bears also

These big ol sloth bois are fabulous at collecting massive amounts of chitin and also get a rather massive damage boost after killing any insect which is fantastic for killing the brood mother and her evil lil spider minions, my lvled sloth does 2.5k damage before boost and around 6-7k damage after boost

The number of tranq arrows that the app says you need to knock one out is wrong (at least for crossbows). It said I needed about 52 arrows for a level 120 and I ended up using way more than that. Also no it wasnt in bug rage mode so it couldnt have been the damage resistance

gets buff when in the presence of insects. useful for the Broodmother and artifact caves with many insects.

Great for Farming Chittin.

But, on mobile, Megatherium can't enter any cave due to its massive body. Just Figure it out and really dissapointed because i can't farm Chittin on Cave T-T
