Satan incarnate both tamed and wild. I've lost many a home and tames due to wild Megatheriums, but they are an absolute powerhouse upon being tamed. I still hate them though. They don't have very good A.I though, so they get stuck pretty easy in natural terrain. If you're looking to kill one, take an aerial dino like a pteradon or Archie and just strike from above. They don't know what to do.

Once you see a glow in the megatherium, run for your life because they will agro on you for no apparent reason if you come close....

Very easy game but not recommend early game they will kill your ass

Megatheriums can now be found as far down as southwest portion of the map and as far up as northeast. They no longer just lumber around the redwoods.

I’ve always wanted to tame one but I play on mobile but I just got it for Nintendo I guess it’s an improvement and now I really want t tame one but I don’t wanna go to the redwoods to unexpectedly get jumped by a Thylacoleo and I know I should have made this in the thylo page but how the heck to you make sure you don’t die in the redwoods to one of them (the Thylacoleo not a megatherium)

This big guy is pretty fast. Caught me off guard while I was reading the tranqs. Covered the distance like Usain Bolt.

The only way to find a megatherium in ark mobile is on dungeons.

List or ark mobile creatures that cannot be seen in the island: megatherium jerboa pegomastax troodon

I think those are the only creatures that can only be seen in dungeons

When I was starting scorched, I was out flying on my moth and went up to one of these. Forgot I was a bug and the thing almost one shotted me

I have searched for about 12 hours in redwoods and snow and I can’t find this mf

If you encounter a wild one, Ned Flanders has a famous saying about the Megatherium;

"If it's calm and brown, you're in passive town!

"If it's head is red, you're as good as dead"

If you see these and you are not riding at least a t-rex, RUN! these guys deadl INSANE amounts of damage, the one lvl. 50 killed my 2 lvl. 150 ankylos and a lvl. 200 pt. I needed to move couse of these things in extinction. And dont get near them, if you dont want to get killed of course.

Don’t use a fakin saber tooth on a lvl 16 your gonna lose them unless they are level 38 saber Lost Black Panther 😂

To cheese set down stone pillar and let it kill you return and it will only attack pillar doing no damage the just shoot it till it dies (don't let it kill you too close to the pillar or you won't be able to retrieve your stuff without it attacking you, about 10ft away should be safe)

My 145 mutton tamed direwolf 5k health 300 melee" got smoked by a lvl 50 that had the buff activated. I never even saw the mega... Highly underestimated creature!
