Really wish this tame wasn't pure pain on mobile, same as the daeodon (correct me if I typed it wrong)

Just caught two of these beastly animals today with my son. The best way to capture one is three metal signs in the form of a triangle with a bear trap in the middle of it. Lay the first two metal sign down in a 90 degree angle and put the bear (large one) trap in the middle. Get the megatherium to follow you into the bear trap, and put the third sign on the outside of the animal. Tranq it up and vola you have a Megatherium.

In Mobile version, megatherium can be resurrect on the obelisk after killing it in the dungeon (plase in mobile, where you can have battle with bosses). It doesn't live in normal world. I know the app says that they can’t break Adobe structures but, with the insect killer buff they can! So if you are going to trap one make sure you use stone or metal and keep your insect tames far away; also kill any insects in the area since they take less torpor damage while the buff is active.

If you are on ark mobile and you are trying to find a megatherium but can't find one.... Go to a dungeon and kill one then get it's implant then revive it with a revival platform and then tame it - Roccky the taming master

For mobile players you can kill it in the dungeons I forgot which one but you will find out. Then grab it’s respawn artifact thing then get a respawn pad respawn it and build stone walls around so it does not get out and escape then tranq it out the easy way is to feed berries hard way is honey. Blow this up so peeps can see it

In mobile, these only spawn in dungeons. Some dungeons. Also to tame you will need a revival platform and a good amount of ancient amber.
