Hardest part about this boss on The Island is getting the Spino sails for the alpha summoning. Spinos don't like to spawn on this map (FYI they are water spawns so kill fish to try to get them to spawn in) and I had to go to Crystal isles and transfer a few stacks over. He's a pushover and a glass cannon. Just avoid the pit falls in the arena and bring him to your tames in the trees and swarm him with theris or rexes while you ride a screaming yuti and he goes down really fast.

This thing spawned on my map for literally no reason and now I have to run away from a giant death monkey, and no I did not summon it. I have no idea what to do

Easy solo Megapithicis Boss Fight.

Take one velonasaur, buff mainly stamina and melee, some health too and run up to let ledge and stay there in turret mode shooting him. Their too stupid to come up and get you although occasionally a monke will run up at you but he can be taken care of.

Can be done on Alpha

Careful with having your REX’s falling off the cliff. I made this mistake and lost 18 lvl 350 Rex’s.

They're actully on mobile, Megapithicus pestis, and it summons gigantopithicus minions and mesopithicus minions.

Few carnos and a few rexes, sit back and shoot. Call yourself good

Take a male and female gigantopithecus mackerel them breed them do the same again mackerel the babies breed them repeat about 8 times then take the final end product put it in a good hat and go kill this boss!

For anyone who thinks this is just as hard as the other bosses, it’s not. It’s the easiest boss in the whole game and I easily killed the gamma with my rexes (35k health and 450-550 melee) and got it down fast. DON’T be afraid. If you enjoyed like so scared people can see

The bolder doesn‘t kill the rider anymore. That makes the monkey the easiest boss, even easier than the Broodmother, although the monkey drops more Element and is intended to be harder.

If you need an army do rexes and a yuti to courage them and hope you make it out with one or two rexes dead

18 therries with 21k hp and 700-900% dmg

1 yuty with 20k ho and 3000k stam

1 daedon named princess with 22k ho and 15k stam

This is just my opinion, but I feel it is much easier to get on your yutyrannus and try to bring the megapithecus to your tames instead of doing the opposite. The pit on the right of the bridge will instantly kill your Dino’s and you if you are not careful. I just find it easier. Up for more :)

Summontamed gorilla_character_bp_c then ride in and murder your enemies break their bases because gorillas can smash tek, and inspire awe in your friends because it’s normally untamable. ;)

Megapithecus is the monkey like boss on ark the island,the center and valgureo this is second easiest boss in the island

I forcetamed one, named it Ranch Dressing, he went after an enemy and accidentally broke my tek forcefeild. Really, Ranch Dressing?!

Before entering the arena take your creatures out of their cryopods (if you use them) because you can't use cryopods in the fight. I found this out the hard way and almost lost all of my boss fighting Dino's. Fortunately if you need to escape the fight once it's started you can leave the game and rejoin and it will place you and your tames at the obelisk (doesn't give summon items back).

You can summon him I with admin commands and forcetame him the code is summon gorilla underscore no space bp no space underscore no space c

Don’t farce tame in arena as you will be stuck there forever

Instead of trash force tame tips why don’t I give you some useful info that you can put into practice.

On official smalltribes I went in with 3 rexes one yuty and a deinonychus. I failed. I didn’t fall down the hole or anything, I simply didn’t have enough firepower.

Forget rexes, unless you want them to tank the boss. The Dino you need for bosses is the deinonychus. As fake as it sounds you can beat it on official with even ONE deinonychus. The reason it can destroy the boss and basically any other boss is because they are the only Dino in the game that does bleed damage to bosses. Bring multiple deinonychus, have some hiding away from the action as a backup because if you bring one and it dies then you lose. I am going to be fighting it again but this time with a pack of deinonychus and 2 stegos (mateboosted) to tank while I do the killing. Search it up on YouTube, Rex’s aren’t the way anymore it’s deinonychus, those feathery raptors, on valguero and fjordur. Also you can easily get artifacts you need for gamma in crystal isles, you legit just need 3 artifacts and you are in. Make sure your deinonychus is a very high level and give it very good health and Stam if you like. Good luck boys.
