I’ve actually found the BEST way to tame them! It requires 2-4 stone dino gates and doors and taming food! Trap them inside and let them munch on the doors until they fall unconscious. They won’t wake up, even when night falls, cuz they are out of stamina! No tranqs or narcotics needed!

If you go alone in a cave don’t if get to close they will wake up and attack you if you have any weapons use them 😨

These things are TERRIFYING!! I was farming chitin in one of the caves and one of these things with its yellow glowing eyes attacked my raptor Favious and I. Thankfully he’s at a high level and saved my life. If you find one of these run, they will not hesitate to kill you.

This creature is useless at day but at night these things become incredibly dangerous they can be found in caves sleeping during the day

Get one of these bad boys on abberation cause they dont need sleep cause theres no daytime just light nighttime

Location: This Sleeping beauty enjoys slumbering in caves often found napping on the Greenland cliffs.

Tame tips: All you need is higher ground preferably not with a direct ramp or clutters of rocks bellow. A handful of tranquilliser darts some narcotics and most importantly an escape route. They wake up quick and will grab most tames including arginatavis in their mouth while you frantically stab the beast to death or knock the bugger out for round two. Good luck survivors

When riding one no creatures will Argo at you including creatures outside of caves in mobile it might work on pc to idk

if you have flyer dino like desmodus do not get close to him like me he gonna grab that dino and kill him

DO NOT SAVE AFTER KNOCKING THEM OUT IN THE CAVE THEY WILL DESPAWN ALONG WITH THE BALM AND MEAT U USED TO TAME THEM

Hey make sure to have really good armor when trying to tame these. I made the mistake of not doing that and my 1,000 Hp got shredded by a level 50

For those just starting on a aberration world or half way through i would highly recommend you tame urself a high level megalosaur. Beacuse its always night in aberration they have the night /cave buff 100% of the time witch means really high damage good health and stamina. In my opinion i rate the megalosaur as the number 1 dino for getting rockdrake eggs :)

Bewere megalosaurus are stronger then rexes and spinos the only thing stronger then a megalsaures is a giga what I said doesn’t in clued any fliers or herbivores Dino’s in ark like Weverns who can kill them with there fire don’t tame at night trust me

A level 1 Mega can rip a level 1 Rex to shreds during the night with over 60% of its health remaining, so I don’t know what you people are talking about when you say that it’s power is EQUAL to a Rex. It is clearly superior.

Went on a hunt for my first one, ended up finding a 150 female! Knocked out, starved out, and the went out of cave for 12 Prime Meat and she was all mine. Lucky day!

On aberration, megalosaurus normally stay in one place unless they see another Dino, so if you are trying to get a quick megalo tame set up a small trap and then shoot the megalosaurus
