lol so many people telling you how to tame. easy. get a sarco or a dolphin thing. make it aggro at you and go either to land or into the shallows. meg will chase you snd get stuck. tranq. feed meat. and boom you got a meg. but be careful about it they do attract other megs. does make it easy to get more megs tho. if more come to attack you either move your meg or fight them. i have gotten about eight of these bad boys by this strategy. your welcome peeps.

Try making a fish trap, I’ll give the recipe.

STEP 1 Make a cage in shallow water and make it BIG.

STEP 2 Drop some cooked meat or fish in there or you can stand in the trap.

Tip : Sometimes putting dodos or Sabre tooth salmon in there work way better.

STEP 3 Wait for a Megaladon to come and take the bait

STEP 4 Tranquilize it and tame it with meat or fish

STEP 5 Ya got yaself a mighty nice Meg.

If your taming one then hop on a itchy then get off it’ll start Chasing you bring it to land then start traqing feed spino kibble if it you have it otherwise just feed it prime meat I’m a mobile player that’s how I do it hope this helped :)

believe it or not, if you have enough agility and time it is possible to kill one of these sharks. i used my ichthy (who was around level 17) to kill one of these pain in the asses. the shark was around 28 in levels.

First you ride on a ichthy then you find a megalodon and try to kill it. But if you take a megalodon the other megalodons will try to kill it.

About the only thing these guys are useful for is hunting anglers since it changed to where anglers agro at you if you are on a underwater mount or not.

If you find a meg, have a pike with you and stay at an edge where it can’t swim to you and then it is killed and you get resources.

Despite being a literal shark, they are pretty pathetic. You can shoot one with a crossbow, you can kill one one with an itchy, so that should say that the pancake is more deadly than the giant shark, which is pretty sad.

They seem tough if your new and are powerful when there’s a lot but alone their WEAK i watched a turtle kill one

On the south west side where the side island is and in the lake where megaladon are infested, they are tameable
