If you are planning on breeding these, here are some tips; 1. Unlike most mammals in ark, during gestation time, these DO GET A PREGNANT BELLY! most creatures (phiomias, chalicos, icthys etc) just look the same. I think equus have the same thing, but im not sure.

2. if you are planning on doing a breeding program with these, keep in mind to only have ONE breeding male! if they have a male baby, just kill it, unless you are trying to get a strong male, then keep males and females, so you don't have to wait the cooldown. 3. Make sure to get the baby food as soon as you claim it! If you don't, it will just die. 4. make sure to claim the baby when it is born, unless you don't want it. When i first started breeding, I forgot this alot.

Great tame for the obvious reasons but a muzzle would be nice since it's call noise is extremely annoying! Vote for a mute muzzle LOL 😆

These things can spawn in the redwoods! That’s where I tamed mine! :D

Males are a little slower and less agile but they have an attack. Females are faster but have no attack. If you prefer speed, choose female and fight, choose male.

The megaloceros is an excellent mount to ride into the caves , because it's able to tank damage from airborne creatures .

The females are super useless.

They can’t attack

They barely have any health

And they have absolutely no purpose.

Do Not Tame complete waste of time.

The males have really good aoe attack and damage. They also gather thatch really fast. The females are faster speed but cannot attack. The males are overall much better and still fast. A few levels in speed and they get fast.

Keep this guy with a team that consists of a doedic, beaver, and a argy. Now you have the perfect build team that you can move very easily because of the argy. These guys are really good for collecting thatch and they do decent damage. I made one my cave mount and it works really well I was surprised.

I wish wild card would make you able to milk it because a female looks like a sheep but sounds like a cow

Is it just me or do you think this guy should have a charge attack for the males?

If you ever diecide to tame a Megaloceros as a mount you plan to use to deal damage with, do not tame the female. This is because (in my console experience) females do not have any attacks, hence not dealing any damage.

My first megoloceros which I tamed yesterday is now my favorite. Scout has killed 2 allos and a rex. Levels up easily. Great for clearing out trees. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO TAME.

You can spam jump on it to send yourself 100 mph and maybe 200 if you have a high click speed and going up a hill

Ok you wont believe me, but this method shrunk my megaloceros! Get an argy with a saddle, pick up the deer with someone riding it, and it will shrink the deer and the tribemate! It works! I did it and when I ride it it looks like torture! Try it!

Surprisingly good fighters, my rank 10 Mega is taking down carnos and argies on death island, and escaping with barely a scratch. I suggest upgrading health stamina and speed to maximize survivability.
