Pulmoscorpios can take hits from this all day long. Just a few torpor hits and this goes down without any threat. The problem is the torpor drop rate. Bring stacks of narcotics.

Knocked out a level 150 after spending 20 minutes carrying it over and it biting my argy the entire time. Knocked it out in my pen, went to get the kibble, came back to its torpor being at 200. Attempted to save it by punching it a lot, didn’t have time to get narcos. It woke up. Killed it and it had eaten my kibble too. So bring narcos before hand, even if your house is 2 spaces away from your taming pen

Bring double the biotoxin that dodoex says to bring had to use 500+ when dodoex said “285” for a lvl 57

Megalania is known as “dino dog” in ark for it’s rabies,( true fact: it may not look like a dog, but it has 5 SRP (Sharp) claws on each foot) the word “mega” in it’s name is because it’s related to the Onyc bat in Ark. Megalania does rabies, Onyc does mega-rabies. The megalania is not a dino-dog at all, instead, it’s known as “sharp clawed lizard” for it’s sharp claws🦞

I found one of these on the volcano fairly easy to knock out if you get it stuck on a tree and Rock make sure to have extra narcotics with you as you will need them

I was in carno island cave mining artis and found one, so to pass the time between respawns I found one to tame, then as it reached 100% it came out of its sleep wild and attacked me. Still had about 75% torpor left

Barry kibble does indeed work for the switch, they just take a bit to eat it

Dododex says they arent carriable by the tapajara, but they are.

Topor goes down fast be careful and then you have a giant lizard that is kinda just a slow thyla

Super helpful for cave raiding, especially the Death Island cave. They can climb up and down the walls instead of taking the long thin path.

These Dinos are extremely useful for taming larger terrestrial predators, if you Climb a wall with this amount you can tranq the predator that is aggroed to you with no problem.

Dont get bite by those, they give covid19.

I must have for climbing in Aberration. No better climbing tame. Only downsides are low speed and damage.

Dont forget to look up in caves and u will be fine

Thy can be hard to spot so bring a snow owl and it’s heat vision

They will attack/be attacked by their fellow cave dwellers, so be mindful that you have to defend them while downed. You can bola/bear trap them when they're in a safe location to pin them there.

I'd do at least half tranq darts and the rest arrows because their torpor pool is high, and hp is a bit low. Torpor drain rate is faster than a mosa, but not quite as fast as dime (or giga).

Eats Narcs like Hot Pockets so bring alot (500) gives mega rabies (a non permanant contagious disease which will kill you if you dont have meds), can climb walls and takes little to no fall damage. Great PVP tame terrible for figting other dinos as it doesnt have the damage.

The dododex says it can't be effected by a bola but they are

Bring at least 1k narcotics for anything below 60. I tried to tame a lvl45 with cooked prime because I didn't have mutton for kibble i wasted 500 narcotics and 60 bio toxin it still wasn't near enough it drops 250 torpor a second and loses only half a point of food at the same time
