i HIGHLY suggest you get tek helmet to spot these things on mobile, because these things are practically unicorns on mobile.

You can find them on the ceiling in the southern cave on scorched earth, didn't know they were and got the boots scared off me.

Also megalania spawn in specific plains in lost island.
