Tips & Strategies

What are tips for megachelon? Tips and strategies for megachelon in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Find one, find a fish swarm, bring swarm over, let it tame, protect swarm from fish and other crap, wait for an hour or so, turtle that’s the size a giga basically is now your and go as fast as a compy.
Once found a Megachelon, search for a Microbe Swarm in it's premises. draw the swarm to the turtle and swim under it until taming starts. the level of the swarm seems to effect taming speed, effectiveness is always 100%. multiple swarms seem to be possible to shorten taming time even more. salmon bites reset taming completely! once taming starts leave it quickly by moving out of render. tribe log will inform you about finished tame.
To breed they have to be pretty deep witch can be dangerous. There is A cave located at 26.5 47.8 on the GPS witch is safe and deep enough.
If you are in the water like I was and you can't feed it than you must swim with it
Swim very close to it and the taming bar will pop up
IMPORTANT TIP FOR TAMING-
Don't.
On a more serious note kill every nearby eel before starting and use a decent crossbow for the salmon and coels that try to eat the parakeet fish. :]

They're pretty easy to take.
Get an underwater tame. I highly recommend the Basilosaurus, as the jellyfish + squid + eels can't knock you off or stun you.
Head to the underwater trenches and reefs near the far left side of the Fjordur map, turtles will be everywhere.
If possible, get a Tek Helmet and activate the sonar down there near the ocean floor. This will detect a school of fish for you.
When you find one, agro them and lead them to your Meacheron. They'll de-agro on you and begin following the turtle, and this will start your tame.
(Be sure to protect them from Megalodon, Ichty and Coecalanth)
If u need turtle shells just equip a sword and hit the shell a bunch til it dies it could only hit u from its head
Don’t let a shark near it or it’s taming will erase
You can incubate them in the egg incubator.
Its a big glitchy but it definitely works.

Well I will say this don’t try and tame it’s near impossible and they have really bad damage but they have op health and you can build on them and they provide air underwater hope this info helped to tame them you need to lure a fish horde to them and keep it safe and carnivores will be attracted during this process and it takes like 36mins to tame :)
Don't even waste your time, all are 30+ mins to tame and 99% of the time you can’t even hit the stupid fish that are eating the swarm
Got one to 60% on one parakeet school. Noticed a salmon or coel following the school and killing it. Killed the fish and literally watched one more spawn and do the same. No successful one swarm tames yet but I'm going to keep trying
