Best method for horns is bringing a carno or allo to the ice caves on rag. You can farm deathworm horns all day. Also the meta for doing the drops.

THEY ARE A PASSIVE TAME just use a ghille suite and bug repellent and feed it death worm horns there you go

Mind that taming progress will drop if the mantis' food is empty which is because rhino horn doesnt give much food value and takes longer time to tame. U may drag a corpse to the mantis, when it attacks the corpse the food will be filled.

Rgs can't pick them up I tried and lost lvl 256 😭

I eats every 300 so just watch taming progress tab so you don't have to sit and time

These guys and most passive tames can be tamed by putting them in some water that's deep and swimming below them spamming the feed button.

Just use Karkinos. Catch a mantis with 1 hand. It holds the mantis and you just tame it.

Perfect for knocking out wyverns with good quality clubs takes only couple of hits to knock one out. Wyvern milk for days :)

Go to rag and take a shadowmane through 5o the ice worm queen get 20 horns. You should escape with around 30 from the lvl1 worms that drop 1. Use some repellent on a wyvern kill the vultures and other creatures easy tame.

You can use spoiled meat but not with bug repel

Use a bola to pin the mantis in place. Then feed it the deathworm horns.

Best way is if you have a wyvern trap ... put some ramps at behemoth gate door make sure your pillars are tight all the round trap. Put 2 pillars were you leave gap for argy to get through :) . They deserve a group fast and is easy to get in and out

Build a 1x2 building 2 walls high. Keep one end open to lure the mantis in and a door on the otherside to walk out of. Once in place the 2 walls behind it blocking it in and replace the doorframe with a wall. If it's agro on the walls fly straight up on a bird until the mantis is out of render distance then fly back down. . You should then be able to walk up to a wall without bugspray or gillie and feed it through the wall

Mantis are not tamable on Crystal Isles. You cannot equip rhino horns to your hotbar.

If it attacks you hop on a flyer and leave render then come back do this fast so it doesn’t loose taming
