Good source of pelt. Not very fast so just pop a few arrows into it and its dead

Certainly the most tanky creature, above everything :

It got huge HP pool, since beginning

Plus, it got both saddle and helmet

Combine the ascendant helmet, with ascendant saddle and even good stats

You're litteraly invincible

They can hold a lot do decent damage, and also can harvest a lot. Their fur is good for many different Things As in armor, warmth etc. that’s it for today, but my next Dino I’ll talk about is…. Team them up with a beaver for maximized wood farming, beaver gathers,mammoth carries wood.

On ARK mobile they can gather water and spray them to enemies and crops. They can also wear hats

On mobile you can equip these things with helmets! It’s hilarious but useful.

One of the best dinos to bring with you in Scorch earth due to there able to store water in their trunk, making them a gaint waterskin.

Early game, these are easier to tame than a beaver, which is better at getting wood, but their torpor drops really fast, the mammoth is an easy tame that will get you really good amounts of wood while you are starting out on your ark adventure ^_^

Get its side platform saddle put a ballista on one side a catapult on the other and have sombody in each other weapon and some body driving and you have the epic war mount

Great for wood and thatch but the damage and health combo makes it really good for single player fighting (I've only played single player) and my mammoth can take Spinos in the water easily.

Very good for offense/defense situation. Mine had 550 melee and 10,000 health when tames with kibble an 17.5 taming buff

Even in the wild these are useful you can if your good at parkour hop onto it's back and be safe from all but flyers!
