Realy good for wood can cary you till early late game

So this is basically the hairy prehistoric version of the war elephant. The only thing I find peculiar about this mammoth is that the hair can be weird colours, from blue to orange, and thats when it’s wild. Otherwise it’s awesome, fantastic wood gatherer and has a high weight reduction for wood. It can stun flyers with its water attack, probably not useful for stunning the flyers, because if you have a mammoth, it’s likely you already got a flyer. The water attack can also irrigate crops making it easier compared to using water skins. 10/10 from me, oh and one more thing, they spawn in groups of 3 or more, kill the ones you don’t want and tame the one you want, preferably a high level, note: ONLY USE KIBBLE FOR HIGH LEVELS, DONT USE MEJOBERRIES LIKE I DID!

These things are amazing battle mounts, on mobile you can equip the platform saddle and equip helmets, I put the saddle on with a apprentice riot helmet ant the thing took down a giga in a few minutes. The helmet is also made larger to fit the mammoths head so it looks awesome. They also have a 75% weight reduction on wood. If you don’t have a mammoth, get one!

Good source of pelt. Not very fast so just pop a few arrows into it and its dead

Equip Flak helmet trust me.... Normal human flak helmet....

On ARK mobile they can gather water and spray them to enemies and crops. They can also wear hats

One of the best dinos to bring with you in Scorch earth due to there able to store water in their trunk, making them a gaint waterskin.

Early game, these are easier to tame than a beaver, which is better at getting wood, but their torpor drops really fast, the mammoth is an easy tame that will get you really good amounts of wood while you are starting out on your ark adventure ^_^

If you are a switch player I do not recommend taming the mammoth for gathering wood, I tested it and it’s not very efficient compared to an axe… better off with a stego for wood. They are cute though!

I have a weird one, you can use it to gather metal And it has a throw ability so if a small dino like a raptor come just…YEET

Mammoths aren’t just for gathering! I used 19 mammoths with 20 veggie cakes each and a yuty to stomp the alpha dragon on official. They hit hard and their roar debuffs enemy damage output. Underrated for sure!
