This is way more versatile than the beaver and far easier to tame as well.

I've killed an alpha rex with mine, has a weight reduction on wood so it can gather an obscene amount in one trip, it has a really large AOE on its stomp which makes it amazing for collecting berries as well and it's the best early tame to clear out the Arctic as it's stomp cuts down wolf packs and annoying argies with ease.

Late game use it for its weight reduction alongside a beaver for collection if wood is a need to get both insane wood collection speed and large carrying capacity of wood

On mobile it can also wear hats so it can get insane armour from a good flak helmet making it unstoppable. Borderline as good as a rex once you spec into melee

this thing is a huge tank, mine does 656 damage on training dummie, which is insane and this creature has an insane heath pool and alot of stamina

best secret last tip

some creatures can have a fasterand better attack,

it has a 2000 dps if you use right attack on training dummie by looking left.

Using the secondary button (L2 on PlayStation) you can pick up small creatures and if you attack as the mammoth it will hurt the creature whilst they are in your tusks

The Mammoth has an ability to spray water out of it’s trunk, this is useful as a heavy knockback attack and to water crops when force feeding crops with water can be tedious and irrigation proves expensive

The weight reduction on wood makes this Dino the best at gathering wood. Getting one of these early on the game might be a hard task but if done so this Dino will make your time in ark a lot easier. Yes they’re slow creatures but are extremely worth it lol

Mammoths can spray water when tamed in ARK mobile. Probably useful for irrigation, although I never tried it.

This dudes are hands down the BEST WOOD FARMER in the game. If you smack the trees with the left click attack you will get a little wood and a bunch of thatch. But if you use the jump (which is usually the space bar). You will get a ton of wood, i think like as much as the casteroides. Bit it have a lot more weight than the beaver. And also it has an 75% weight reduction on wood which is AMAZING.

Mammoth on Raft!?

Does anyone else have a problem with transporting the mammoth on raft?

It seems i can’t climb the raft with my mammoth no matter what i do, what material i’ve used for the raft’s floor, and asking admins help on an unofficial server, they teleported to me on raft with the mammoth, and it just floats.

Anyone else have the same problem?

mammoths are really useful to get rockaroots and plants easily!

Absolutely fantastic at harvesting cactus sap on Scorched Earth.

Honestly better for wood runs than a beaver in my mind. Pair it with a quetz and load up.

These are 10x better Than beaver in my opinion. They get nearly as much wood they can fight they are fast they are easy to tame they have 2 seats they get more berries (I think) and they have a cheap saddle at a low level only down side is there only really in the snow so if u want to tame one make sure to bring fur

Mammoth can be carried by Quetzalcoatlas, dont listen to Dododex

It can pick up humans so you can finally kill the Ice Age Baby

They also can harvest rare mushrooms just need to drop the ton of wood they gather to collect more rare mushrooms from the swamp biom.

The capacity u see in this creature's stats on mobile is actually how much water it can carry (90% is the minimum) you can spray the water to ground fliers, remove paints, turn off electricity and remove off leeches from tames (not sure?)
