Castoroids are just trash against these not only do they spawn a lot more they are just have wayyy better stats than castoroids the weight levelling is a lot higher it has a lot bigger attack radius more gathering capacity and even without the utility the mammoth is simply also just a powerful mount that can quiet easily defend itself for anyone else thinking don't search for castoroids just get a high level mammoth fly over the north zone and they also spawn in groups of 3 so much higher chance to get better lvls I have officially become a beaver hater after taming this

Mammoths are excellent for collect wood on mobile. Get a high level mammoth (i tamed lvl 250). The mammoth unlike a beaver has a high weight reduction,more weight in general and can defend itself and you from threats when collecting wood unlike the beaver. Btw it has a cheaper saddle

If you need a great wood/thatch getter this one is it. The stomp attack gets the most wood. Swipe attack gets the thatch.

Pairing a mammoth with a chainsaw is the best at getting wood. Mammoth has a weight reduction of 75% and a chainsaw can get you many stacks. Found this out way later than I should’ve.
