How do I tame a mammoth? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a mammoth.

Find Mammoths in the winter biome, preferably near its safer outskirts, and clear nearby predators before starting. Lure one to a secure location or trap, then use tranquilizer weapons while backing away to keep it at a safe distance. Once unconscious, feed it preferred kibble or berries and guard it from hostile creatures until the taming is complete.

I just block its way with my wyvern and then place dino gates around it. Then I tranq it with arrows. When it's unconscious I place spike walls around the dino gates. After it's tamed I get my quetzal and carry it home. It's not hard. The only issue is the various predators in the snow biome. Clear the area before you start taming. Always watch out and guard the mammoth.
