When hunting for eggs be sure to use a high level bloodstalker. a lower level is fine but riskier. use it to get past the cave critters and in the back of the cave is a cliff that overlooks the nests that is safe. use the glide parachute function to get over the nest and once all magmasaurs are away or led away you can quickly jump down and grab the egg. once grabbed get back on bloodstalker and double jump straight up and aim for the ceiling not the cliffs or you'll get glitched. once you're back on the safe cliff you can teleport out. beware of onyc when in the nests they can mess it all up. and at all costs avoid the mortor strike attack of the magmasaur, the bloodstalker cannot grapple while under burning effect.

for raising use air conditioners ranging 10 to 30 depending on biome and then use ankylosaurus to farm Ambergris on lunar biome before hand. keep it on a dino for max spoil travel time till you can get it to a fridge for the maximum preserve time and hatch the egg, enjoy!

Do not do the egg-straction mission for the eggs, once you complete the mission you don't get the egg. Instead go to the cave by the mission but don't start it, there will be less Dinos and you keep the egg.

Stealing & Hatching Eggs and Ect:

I would recommend a Desmodus, Oviraptor, Pterodon, Galimimus, and/or an argy. Go around the nest carefully and (if on desmodus and turn invisible when you’re near the nest) make sure there are little to none Magmasaurs. If there are Magmasaurs, I would recommend you have good melee and health because they’ll burn your dinosaur to death easily, so, you have to try to kill them off before they kill you after you get off your ride. (If you have an Oviraptor, put it on follow and make it grab the egg) I recommend you get more than 1 egg, you’ll find out why you need that much later. After that, you grab the eggs and get back on your ride and run off with your amazing Magmasaur eggs.

I do not recommend using standing torches because last time I put more than 10 and it was still cold, I think Air Conditioners would be a better option. Once hatched, the Magmasaurs will be loosing health. Do not make the mistake I did and give it rocks, it starved to death because I misread information. Instead, give it about 4-5K sulfur so then you don’t have to check on it so often. You could also use a Daedon to heal your Magmasaurswhich I have heard that it works. Once grown, your Magmasaurs is very large and you’re pretty sure it’s getting lonely. To get it to mate, you have to get your female Magmasaur and bring them both to a pool of lava. Once there, you must turn mating on and wait a bit until they are finished and there, lies your freshly laid egg awaiting to be hatched. I really hope this helped you and good luck trying this out!

It's best to use a bloodstalker to take and retreat from the area

Whenever you’re trying to hatch one you need like 13 air conditioning in the ocean biome or if you spawn in some e Hatchers, you have to bring it to 100°

I is really easy if you get desmodus and just fly in and go to a nest where there is not many magmasaurs. Take the egg then leave right away because the heat will bring your health down pretty low.

IDK if something got changed or if it's the server I'm in but I was able to feed the babies with sulfur and I play on Xbox One.

Fast way of getting eggs on lost island is to get a sinomacrops some decent armour and a fast flyer. Then you go to the entrance to the nest Cave and leave flyer outside the run in fly over to the nest with sino grab the egg and get out of there.

You can teleport away over an egg than you grab it when you are about to teleport to a different biome in genesis

Find sulfur before taming I was unaware of this when I tactically acquired a couple eggs from a nest and had to go back to the area I got the eggs from. And they are great from getting metal ore and smelt the metal too

Use a procoptodon to hop around and yoink eggs, it’s a simple method that nearly garrentees a healthy dozen of eggs

Just run in run out as fast as you can

Hatch it with 4-5 Dimetrodons. Don't waste too much materials on anything else

Find eggs in Genesis Volcano.

Volcano erupts a lot, beware.

Magmasaurs are hard to get past in the egg spawning region.

Only eats a glowing green mineral found in the lunar biome that can only be mined by a drill or anky.

I suggest cryopoding until you have found the mineral.

Use daedon if you can't find the mineral, or snow owl.

As you can't get Ambergris on lost island you may feed it with sulfur, and cryo-release it several times to change its imprinting needs.

Use Mana to kill Parents & steal eggs.

Use Sulfur to raise

Not sure how many people know this but you can feed it meat. Not when raising it you have to use sulfur and/or whale poop to to that. But when it’s an adult you can feed it meat instead of stone or metal.

You do not actually HAVE to put them in lava to breed.

What you can do is:

1. Enable mating and hit with wyvern fire, however you will need to bring the a Fire Wyvern in from another map such as Scorched Earth, Ragnarok, Valguero or Ember Crystal Wyverns from Crystal Isles

2. Do the opposite of 1: Upload the Magmasaurs to another map with Wyverns, Such as the examples listed above.

3. Enable Mating, then blast them with a Flame Thrower.

4. Enable Mating. Cover a desired area with oil and make the Magmasaurs stand on said area, then light it up.

WARNING: If you hatch a Magmasaur egg in the bog biome, the rain will KILL the babies.
