Best way to raise. Set food consumption to 0, it will not require to eat anything cause the food bar to stop counting down. You will then have an adult with no effort in raising, these side settings are in play for a reason ;)

On Xbox use daeodons passive healing when raising baby magmasaur once it's fully mature it will eat raw meat and fill it's food bar and won't die.

Get a magmasaur egg or a good old force tame

My method for stealing there eggs is tame a managar and use the freeze attack on the near by magmasaurs and steal the egg and escape hastily - nano
