Find a high lvl pteradon, set tracking and passive on him. Then quickly fly inside to collect the eggs and the ptera will be waiting next to you. So quickly mount and use the Fly drill to run out. (you have to practice it, but it works 95% of the time)

After 2 failed attempts, on xbox, the only way to raise one up is to use a daeodon. I had to kill about 17 brontosaurus to feed the daeodon and to bring up the food bar. Each pass of passive healing uses about 2000 food. You have to watch this closely. Mutton fills food bar by 100 and raw prime meat fills it by 50 whereas regular raw meat fills it by 10. It has taken hours. Also remember to give the magmasaur some stimberries so that the torpor does not go all the way up. All this is very important. I did my first marmasaur on January 4, 2022

Sulfur it’s not working for me PS4 latest update also and he doesn’t want to eat it

The only current fix for the maewing glitch is to cryopod the magmasaur and place it back down. Best of Luck if you went for the early-game egg.

Not sure if feeding sulphur to a baby is still bugged but seems to enjoy being fed sulphur by a Maewing. Also am able to force feed it sulpur to raise manually.

If it does not work it’s a glitch, I just raised a 188 magmasaur on sulfur only. So yes they can eat sulfur

In order to tame one, you need to feed the baby ambergris.

Something I found out today is that ambergris can be stored in fridges on official.

If you have no way to get the food they require as a baby use a daedon this method only works if the daedon has enough foid for continueous healing

If you can get someone to help, each of you take a shadowmane male and female and use the female to turn the group invisible, grab an egg and leap outta there real fast!

You rais The babys with Ambergris from Stones in Lunar biom, works like The wyvern Milk for wyverns.

As a adult,the only other thing besides mewt that they will eat is stone,as babys,they will only eat ambergris,abd ambergris is only found in tge lunar biome

A good strategy is to have a tribe member with no loot and you on a blood stalker and have your tribe member stand under you will you kill bugs then when you arrive at the eggs have your blood stalker hang from the roof and attract the magmasaurs to the opposite to the eggs then your tribe member run for the eggs then run away and regroup some where else and now you have a magnasaur egg they will eat meat and rock so don’t panic

Get a high lvl ferox and pump heath and stam, run in steal the egg and kill things if you have to.

Breeding this monster will take up to 7,77 days on official. With the spoiling timer of ambergill you'll need to comeback for about every 2 hours. Unless you want to lose your job and girlfriend, I wouldn't recommend breeding this one, altough his forge function is pretty handybandy.

You can't physically tame it unless its a baby

If you put the baby mature speed up enough, you dont need ambergris to tame

Need to be in lava to mate

Can smelt metal

Can eat rocks if you force feed them as adults

Tame one of these by getting a few parachutes get a blood stalker to swing and check the pits remember to use the parachute when you press the wrong button and accidentally fall to your doom always bring a few spare blood stalkers so u can get back up
