Easy way to get high level Magmasaur eggs Fjordur:

What you need:

Desmodus

Rifle or any form of long distance weapon

Lots of ammo ( around 200-300 just to be safe )

1. At night use the cloak ability on your desmodus to sneak into the magmasaur cave unnoticed.

2. Find the high lvl eggs ( they’re usually the most guarded eggs )

3. Latch onto the roof with the desmodus and equipt your rifle.

4. Shoot and kill any magmasaurs guarding the egg

5. Steal the egg then fly out of there as fast as you can.

Guys if you want to get one of this you should go with a tapejara then you land in the nest and pick It the tapejara It to have a lot of wheigth (sorry if mi english IS bad because im form spain

Use a rock drake while invisible and eat cactus broth so they still don’t see you when you dismount but they will see you after you pick up egg….easy.

Be wary-to get their eggs is hard,

Climbing inside the terror mountain,

That might explode and you'll be charred.

Try to use somethimg fast for their offspring,

A bloodstalker, or two.

But beware for they can give you a flare

Killing all of you.

Yep, this creature is awesome! Gathers metal and crystals and rocks very well, and takes 20-25 standing torches to hatch. Can swim in lava, a plus, and has a swipe attack (R2 for ps4), a fire thing where it spits fire out of the holes on it's back (X for PS4) and a blast of fire from it's mouth that requires metal ingots, which you can smelt from the magma boi(L2 for ps4). They are very strong and dangerous. Beware!

They don’t seem to harvest sulfur on the Ragnarok volcano.

Some people are encouraging you to teleport just as you grab the egg, but in my experience, there is a better way.Just get either a BS or a Ferox, which shouldn’t be too hard to tame as they are probably the easiest tames of gen 1 dlc.I prefer BS coz u can just web to ceiling after u grab egg, but Ferox is just as effective at traversing the retain of the volcano.With teleporting, you risk getting attacked by magmasaurs as the teleport charged up, so I’d say it’s better to just grab egg and escape using BS or Ferox.

The best way to raise magmasaur in my opinion is just to heal them with snow owl so you don’t have to go get amberis

Ran in to the cave with a parachute, got on a ledge waited for the magmasaur to walk away began to teleport and a the last second grabbed the egg

Gigas can take these head on.. But when i say head on, i mean dont turn or divert from the path you've chosen. These guys are weak and will die within a few bites. if you try to turn, run away or if you have one behind you. U r as good as dead. One missile attack will kill you. your dinosaur won't die but good luck trying to get it back unless you got another tame. I highly recommend getting a skiff. But if your smart and not dumb enough to run in like a cow boy, you could take a mind wipe invest all into fortitude and movement speed. Get some parachutes and get to your tame. Good luck

When in the cave the volcano can erupt at any time and you will die instantly if you are not out of there quickly. So I used a blood stalker so you can take the egg and zip out, before you die or get hit by one of the magma balls.

Magmasaur can swim and takes no damage, but cannot use its abilities underwater same when it's raining

Start harvesting with magma set on smelting until you’ve got about 5 ingots. This is so you can defend yourself with fireballs. No cooked metal - no fireballs. Also cooks your raw meat in its inventory.

If you enable smelting it drains a lot of food. But it eats stone if you put it in first slot in inventory and they collect a lot of it really A LOT.

Its saddle is unlockable at lvl 95 but it isn't in dododex
