It has eggs like Wyvern and Rock Drakes. All you need to do is find the eggs. The only thing I know location wise is somewhere in a lava cave there is a tunnel with purple crystal on the walls and ceiling. When you go through that tunnel there is a large room with a lava lake in it. There will be lots of Magmasaurs in the room guarding the eggs. Note that the eggs are on the surface of the lava, so you might want to use a flying Dino and a grappling hook.

Get up on the ceiling above the egg u want web straight to it dismount,yoink the egg jump back on and web straight away DO NOT JUMP STRAIGHT UPWARD,u will die if u do.only web out. Sidenote magma burning bloodstalker feet doesn't prevent webbing only having the torso on fire does

Magmasaurs are super good if you charge up your flame spit at one 100% and keep it charged any thing in a 3 platform range catches on fire

for fjordur: use a desmodus and sneak into the fire wyvern trench at night. at the end of the trench is an amethyst cave; keep going all the way back until you hit a big cave full of magmasaurs. use a spyglass to check out the eggs. land next to one, grab it, hop back on, and get out FAST. other hazards besides the magmasaurs include rock elementals, onyc, scorpions, and centipedes.

You can only get one by getting the eggs no KO time!

You can use the do tame command to get an adult magmasaur fast hope this helps

These little guys are hard to get in survival mode but in creative u can just zoom in grab the eggs and get out its that easy

Pick up any Lvl maewing and increase its stamina to 1000, fly down into the amethyst cave on Genesis, stick to the farthest wall when you land. Spot your egg, walk through or around the lava with your Maewing, grab the egg and then gtfo using your mount. With enough stamina you'll be able to get out before the magmas aggro onto you. Get somewhere safe and teleport away.

They eat meat and stone at adulthood

Make a ramp on the back of a quetz platform saddle and run the magmasaur up there, and and metal runs are a piece of cake.

Find a high lvl pteradon, set tracking and passive on him. Then quickly fly inside to collect the eggs and the ptera will be waiting next to you. So quickly mount and use the Fly drill to run out. (you have to practice it, but it works 95% of the time)

These things swim surprisingly well

After 2 failed attempts, on xbox, the only way to raise one up is to use a daeodon. I had to kill about 17 brontosaurus to feed the daeodon and to bring up the food bar. Each pass of passive healing uses about 2000 food. You have to watch this closely. Mutton fills food bar by 100 and raw prime meat fills it by 50 whereas regular raw meat fills it by 10. It has taken hours. Also remember to give the magmasaur some stimberries so that the torpor does not go all the way up. All this is very important. I did my first marmasaur on January 4, 2022
