What are tips for magmasaur? Tips and strategies for magmasaur in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
These things are king at metal/obsidian/crystal farming. The only benefit of a tek stryder is teleporting mats back to base. I just set up and filled an Indy forge on the redwoods mountain with a freshly raised 125 without lvling. 166% melee. Weekend boost rates (2x harvesting). If you get even a half decent one, you can easily have more metal than you know what to do with
THEY CAN DAMAGE YOU ON YOUR MOUNT, PLEASE DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS ME😭
Heres the easiest way to get magmasaur egg: #1. Tame bary or bloodstalker. #2. Head to volcanic biome. #3. Go to magmasaur cave. #4. Steal egg from nest. #5. Leave the cave riding bary or blood spider. #6. Hatch egg. #7. Have magmasaur grow up.
If your playing with a friend on a non dedicated server then use the tether distance have your friend go in when he grabs the egg pull him out fast hope this helps👍
You do not knock out magmasours you have to go to the coordinators to a cave are 19.3 and 67.5 on lost island. You have to dodge the adults and steal the egg and go back to base. Use air conditioning and Dimetrodons and pump all melee into them. Then get them in ur base with the air conditioning. Then place ur eggs down and let them hatch they are very slow when they are a baby. They eat sulfur and will eat from a trough at 10% Age witch means juvenile. And DO NOT them in your house they will be to big as a adult and you will have to break you house so make sure to get them out of ur house when there a baby. Use double doors for the baby to fit through. And when there adult they will be very strong and they are not starter pets. Tek armour recommended. The best animal to use is probably a Dinopithecus, there fast and can jump very high and climb walls AND EVEN THROW POOP LOL. Anyway... ^^ Posted on: Tuesday, February 22. Year: 2022
If you can't get sulfur, tame a doeodon. Use passive heal while infants. They eat from trough from juvi on.
You can raise these with sulfur on Xbox lost island and they also eat out of a maewing, I did 3 at once
The babies do eat the sulfur, you gotta wait a bit cause they eat it slow but they still live with it, it’s a long process so good luck! Took my 150 2 1/2 days to fully mature, it’s tough but definitely worth it
The sulfur was not working for me on Consol so I just spawned I’m some ambergris… the code is gfi ambergris 1 1 0
Best strategy to get an egg from a nest is riding a rock drake, when a nest appears on magma it always has an egg or two, so find a nest, fall with drake, jump out, grab egg, jump back on drake and then go away of the nest, Magmasaurs on the nest will deaggro when you go out of the cave
Despite being encased in the metal shell on the saddle, you can still get picked by players.
Good job Wildcard! Great design!
If you decide to breed Magmasaurs, be careful if you build a gate around the area to keep stuff away, if it blocks the magma flow, your Dino will read “needs lava to mate” even while standing inside the lava. Just remove the gates blocking the lava until that notice goes away.
If you keep the male breeder in your hot bar, you won’t get them all confused while lining them up in the lava.
Be careful when you aren’t riding them, if they are attacked they will taunt and a low level magmasaur will die pretty quickly when literally everything around it(even passive animals like parasaurs)attack them. I almost lost my lvl 60 magmasaur when a dilo hit it and then all the stegos and brontos started attacking.
So as of right now you cant outright put ambergris into a babys inventory but right b4 they run out of food you should be able to feed them. Pig method is only necessary if they dont eat right b4 they run out
On certain servers the render distance for the eggs are super close so you have to go closer to the nests if you can't see any eggs!
The latest Genesis trailer actually revealed the most successful and safest way to obtain these eggs. They grabbed it, then escaped by grappling up the cliffside.
