It is very easy to tame. Just get a couple of mejoberries, stay close to him and give him one whenever he's hungry, through passive taming. Just be careful not to let any predators approach, wait less than 10 minutes and you will have your pet Lysto. If it is female it is useful for eggs, otherwise it only acts as a companion (in addition to making poo useful as a fertilizer).

A level one alpha raptor gives 1060xp and a lystro doubles xp to all nearby dinos. I think you know where I'm going with this.

When taming, use rare flowers. Trust me on this one.

Look on the south shore rocky peninsula, common there, I got five in the past two days, super cute and easy to tame

once i got a glitch when helping my dilo hunt to get levels, and like three listros came out of nowhere and started attacking me after my dilo killed one.

i will never forget that day.

Be warned! If you want a puppy like this little guy to pet and look cute, he’s the best! However!! If you leave it outside (even in a pen) they will get picked up and carried off without you even realizing it. You will be sad. So bring your pets inside! Lol

If on ark mobile definitely tame one of these they may look small but trust me they are super helpful it gives xp boost and its kibble tames a diplo and it’s kibble tames an allo which is super powerful in packs and finally the allow can tame a griffin easily if using soothing balm

Love these adorable lil beans sm I recommend having a few (I have 4) cause when you pet them (go to their inventory and select pet it) it gives all dinos around it level ups. It's super nice and I like to pet mine and do "housework" on my base and by time the timer resets most of my dinos have 1-2 levels up. Also they're adorable eye candy. :) thanks for reading!!

I always have these around my base with an oviraptor and a trough for my egg farms. Then I check all three for proper maintenance.

You can't pick it up like a Dodo so i'd recommend leveling up his movement speed as well. :)

Haven't seen this anywhere yet but tamed lystros can be picked up/stolen by wild ichthyornis, so look out for your tamed lystro if an ichthy is nearby

Basically the ark version of a puppy. Super easy to tame and can launch you through the early levels with its Xp boost. All around pretty good Dino’s. Level health and weight for portable storage and Xp

Great little guys. Tamed one before knowing what it did and named it Glorble. They’re amazing to take on hunting or resource gathering trips as they give an XP bonus when they’ve been pet. Unfortunately lost Glorble thanks to my low level dumbness thinking I could take on a carbo with an axe. Pro tip- if hunting, keep them out of the thing you’re attacking me reach and set them on passive. Invest in speed and health buffs. They’re not hard to tame, just follow it while holding its proffered berry in your hotbar and feed it when it’s hungry.

Ok so mine took about 10 Moji Barries, so be ready with a lot because it can very from a few to like 13. But in the end it’s worth it. And it’s little waddle run is so cute. Patting this fella helps your other dinos level up pretty fast, so a team of them would be extremely helpful if all your dinos are pretty low levels. This guy is just soo cute. Also I named my after a Lestrange Brother, I don’t know why but the name of this fella’s breed just reminds me of Lastrange.
