When I and my Teammates decided to sail to herby island to set up base there. We didnt encountert one. But later when one of these appeart and started to use our Raft as a Chewing toy, we where able to scare it away with a Crosbow. I dont know if it was luck or these can be scared of by shooting them.

For whatever reason, on mobile, i receive 50 raw fish meat instead of raw PRIME fish meat. Wtf

For me this whale does not do any damage when ur naked I would prefer trapping the whale on herbivore island

If you see one of these and you are on a raft, don't stop, just take the raft to the shallow part of the ocean. Saved my raft twice like that, my preserving bin and storage box tho...

Just use a ichy to get its meat then use it to run the hell away, there are sharks and other dangerous Dino’s around so once you get the meat get on your ichy and swim away, easy, it’s easier to do then say

If you want to trap one make a pin and have an opening big enough for your raft to go through then drive your raft near one and they’ll chase you lead them into the pin and shut it now you can enjoy endless prime fish meat

If your about to tame something that needs meat or you want easy prime meat just trap it in a stone enclosure and put a preventing bin close and go there occasionally and scrape some meat when I scraped it I gave 50 prime fish meat but you probably will get alot

You can easily take an Ichthy and ride up to it, dismount and scrape, and mount again. Check if you were able to get meat or prime meat. A real killer when making narcotics! I found one by herbivore island. You might be able to see it if you jump in the water near the edge. If not, swim out in all directions except towards the main land.

You can get prime fish meat from tapping with something. It just happens… rarely.

So i got two explorer notes in ark mobile and found one of these things pinned between two large rocks close enough to shore where i could kill it safely, and killing this thing with two explorer notes gave me 65+ levels no joke..
