There is an alpha and normal. They are always level 1 and have 4400 health alpha or normal. Alphas will 1 shot wooden rafts and normals 2 shot wooden rafts. You can scrape meat off its sides. Lots spawn around herb island but they do spawn around the whole island. They seem fairly common as I found 6 on one side of the map. 3 alphas 3 normals. (One of the alphas took my raft from me.) they are untamable and if you are on a mount do little damage to it so they are easy to kill if you are not on a raft. Others say you can throw honey off your boat and it will stop attacking. I have never tried this but it likely works.

Dudes just chill down... take an ichthy and go to the fish and dismount and scrape it it will be passive for like 3-6 sec to dismount, scrape, and mount very quickly.

Mobile players only: they do not attack rafts in mobile so it’s safe to be on a raft but only mobile not pc or Xbox or ps4

Trap them and you can scrape off raw prime fish meat to use to feed piscivore creatures.

These guys aren't aggressive unless your on a raft, also if you scrape of meat from it, it still won't attack you.

They would be great tames if there are tribes on your server with water bases. Leeds can easily sink boats. If only you could tame them...

we thought that to, stay to the shallows but 2 followed us right into the shallows and 1 was an alpha. lost everything but it's a metal motor boat for us,live and learn.

Trap it in some kind of cage where you can easily access / find it then just keep it for scraping fish meat

If you scrape them then go out of render distance and go back in render distance it resets the timer and you can scrape it again. Up so more people will know about this!

I’m pretty sure they are the best way to get prime fish meat. As long as you don’t make them angry and you should trap them in an underwater metal gate preventing them from wandering off.

I know they can’t be tamed but me and my friend saw a enemy tribe trapping it and they got huge amounts of prime fish without killing it not bad idea it would be a shame if someone were to copy it.

Why they are the size of Gigas? Because in real life, it was the biggest aquatic creature to ever live on earth excluding whales.

Ever need LOTS of raw prime fish? 1st get a bassilosaurus 2nd find leedsicthis and kill with bassilo, then harvest body.

I think it would be awesome if this was tameable, it’s one of the strongest creatures, and possibly the 3rd strongest water creature (on mobile I know that for a fact, console and pc, I’m unsure). It’s a neutral creature, passive tame makes the most sense, just imagine what this whale 🐋 could do, have a platform saddle, a tanky mobile whale base. The dreams and future can become a reality.

They spawn alot in the south and I got one trapped it's the reg but still gives about 30 fish prime

So can you trap them when they can break metal and stone?

In order to trap them, I recommend attacking them once with a tanky mount like a basi and then leading them to an area in which they can be easily enclosed. I recommend herbivore island.
