They are normally passive but if you hit them they come aggressive. They really hate rafts cause if you go near one with a raft it will try and eat it

I had a level 90 Sarco (now 104) and I killed an alpha version (it was stuck by a rock) these guys give so much prime!

If you're on the center, there seems to be a lot of these guys especially in groups. It almost makes travelling by water pointless. I was on my raft peacefully then out of nowhere my raft snapped in half and I was swimming for my life back to shore.

Got attacked by an alpha whilst going to herbivore island DO NOT STAND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BOAT when something like this happens or you’ll get 1 shot along which your raft. IT DID 10000 DAMAGE

I usually don’t see them but if I do I usually stop my boat and it doesn’t hit it but if it does it just attacks the boat usually also for those retards who say this is a whale ITS A BLOODY FISH

I was testing out my new meg going to south island, I was comming back to base on it and saw this thimg chillen in da water, I was SHOCKED AND SCARED, I was playing on hardcore for the firtmst time. I did not know they spawn in mobile It scared the poop out of me.

If you have a spino, which I highly recomend, you won't have to worry about a raft being eaten, and they can protect you while you scrape raw prime fish meat off of its body. You get food, and your happy spino does too.

I was restating because I was a noob and my first thought was to go to herbevore island i went on a raft and when I got there thankfully I saw one stuck in the middle of the island in the small pool there’s one right next to my base it’s an alpha version (if anyone wondered yes there are alpha versions)he just chills there we coexist now so yeah he hasn’t moved in a while so I got a friend.i know killed the one stuck and took that spot for my water tames so my mega anglers basilo and plesiosaur live there.(I also forgot to say my ichosourus and manta and sorry for any misspelled words and that’s it)

This is a passive aggressive creature so it doesn't attack you unless you are on a boat or you attack it and i think on super rare occasions it attacks you when you scrape meat (i dont actually know about that) they only spawn in open water but can be lured into shallows these things are not able to be tamed unless you have the cheat key or a special mod

They spawn mostly at herbivore island (bottom right of the island) and they only attack rafts/motorboats so be careful you can also scrape meat off of them for food which is pog

These can come as alphas. I did not know this untill I came across it. Destroyed my boat in 2 bites. Where as a standard one destroys a boat in 4 bites

This fker just distroyed my raiding raft, lost so mush look and time. So an advice, don't keep so much loot on rafts
