When crossing open water, jump off raft and look around for leeds. Go around if you see one. I never had a problem going to herbivore island when I was looking out.

There are two of these right near one of my bases. It’s really nice cuz I just hop on my Megalodon and go to each and get tons of fish and prime fish meat!

I developed a raft capable of repelling the monster. You need spikes, a stone foundation, and stone walls. DEATH TO MOBY DICK

Kill it with one or two high Level Baryonyx (cause they stun it and have an awesome turn radius) before you use your raft and thank me later

If you happen to be traveling about on a rant when you encounter one of these, make a B line for shallow water or be prepared to lose your boat and everything on it in two chomps. Your best bet is to hug the shore as much as possible while traveling by raft.

Use your raft close to shore to make sure these do not get you, they can't swim in shallows so your safe next to the beach, happy rafting

Prime Fish /& raw fish in great amounts by interacting with it while it has not been aggressed.

It will not attack.

Boats are a meal for it.

While not easy beaching one is kinda fun.

Yo me and my friend where for 14 hours and an Alpha one of these one shot our raft killed with thousands of metal on it

Don’t quote me on this but I hug the shore and the boundary wall and cross over quickly at short gaps. Start at the rock island crross quick to the wall and hug that until you are behind herbivore island then cros to it quick. Just don’t have any tames on board or them will be pushed out by the wall

If you swerve your raft at the right time it sometimes misses you. Sunken foundations offer no protection, so have a chest with repair mats on hand that you can use while you flee to the shallows.

If you really have no other choice but to sail, stick to sailing on the edges of land for as long as you can. If you need to sail from island to island, make sure your boat and everything on it is fully repaired and has full health. Then you can book it. Good luck!

Mistakes have been made, you don't need to hit him with pick axe to get prime fish meat instead just unmount & tap him.

I killed an alpha with a sarco. My sarco's damage was around 300 at the time and health close to 3k. With stamina around 1400. It took some manuevering and drawing it to the beach, hoping it could get stuck. It sort of did, but would quickly get loose. I killed that sucker!!!!

I killed an alpha lvl 1 and got nearly 1000 hide from him....

On ARK Mobile these guys do not attack rafts accirding to the wiki page.
