There is an alpha and normal. They are always level 1 and have 4400 health alpha or normal. Alphas will 1 shot wooden rafts and normals 2 shot wooden rafts. You can scrape meat off its sides. Lots spawn around herb island but they do spawn around the whole island. They seem fairly common as I found 6 on one side of the map. 3 alphas 3 normals. (One of the alphas took my raft from me.) they are untamable and if you are on a mount do little damage to it so they are easy to kill if you are not on a raft. Others say you can throw honey off your boat and it will stop attacking. I have never tried this but it likely works.

My entire life was on my raft. It came out of nowhere. The only reason I made it to shallow water, is because I went in a tight circle around it and it missed one of its attacks. That one extra attack would've destroyed everything and sent me back to square one. Do what I did but better and you will also survive.

In the center I found a freaking white alpha glitched in river and I had a harpoon gun “call me ishmeel” chickchick BOOM

Alphas of this Dino ohhhhhh myyyy, they are humongous 😳

If u need to tame a plesiosaur or the megalodon scraping their meat is a great option

I was just on a boat with my baryonyx and this guy destroyed everything and killed my bary.

Ok, I know Ark says it doesn't have enough brains to be tamed but whales are really smart in real life. And if you could tame it, the should give the whale a platform saddle.

Leedsicthys are not on Ragnarok so build a raft to avoid the danger of the land!

In order to obtain a tamed leedsy you will need to knock out a wild one. I suggest having a tranq mod as a leedsy loses torpor fast (usually for me waking in 1-2 minutes). Once it is asleep approach it and access its inventory. If you are lucky the leedsy may have a fertilized egg. That egg can then be hatched to get your own.

So first u need to make it go into a trap then your set just harvest raw prime fish for days

Comes up from the depths and destroys your boat in 6 hits

Me and my friend were in the crystal isles I was afk when I got back he told me we were attacked. It does INSANE damage to rafts and if you are on the bottom right of crystal isles it should be easy to avoid. Ours was lvl 1 and I started shooting but idk how much damage I did. I knew what it was because of the spyglass.

At last i found a leedsichthys. Guess i won’t be riding a raft anytime soon

Don’t you just hate it when you tamed a fresh new level 50 Dodo and hopped it on the raft and this level 4 bastard came out of no where and sunk your raft and killed the dodo because you hit it on your way home when you were mining oil with your dunkle

If you need meat, find one and get close to it and press Y which’ll scrap his meat off of it. IT HAS A LOT OF MEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dudes just chill down... take an ichthy and go to the fish and dismount and scrape it it will be passive for like 3-6 sec to dismount, scrape, and mount very quickly.
