So, Me and my tribe mates were sailing to herbivore island with our house raft, and I saw a giant as creature in the bay of the island, so I said “I’ve heard about boat eating whales.. can we stay away from it?” So we did, and parked on the outer island. And when it came out of the bay, it just swam away! So I parked our boat in the Bay Area, and it didn’t come back! So one of my tribe mates went up to it, and he could scrape meat off of it! So he did.. and we had fish meat for all the meals for the next year.

We lived happily ever after!

If you go to the south east in the island be prepared to have yo boat snapped in half

Despite it's dossier stating that it is not tamable it has a saddle design in the ARK Files.

There is an interesting Fact about Leedsichthys they can destroy everything zp to metal walls but not Adobe walls (Cement walls). So if you wanna trap them use Adobe Walls!

The Leedsichthys can be found in Genesis in the ocean biome, and being the noob I am, I tried to tame it.

In the Ark files the creature has a tame animation and a saddle so I see this massive whale to be tameable in the future!

Which would be an amazing pvp tame cause it can just wreck rafts….

Also up if you think this should get a platform saddle as well!

Why even have boats in the game? This dangthing will murder every boat it sees

Ok so basically. These huge ass fish mainly hang around the herbivore island. Stay out of open water on rafts or you’ll become dinner for one of them. They do have alpha variants but they’re the easiest alpha to kill doing barely any damage to a saddled mount. I easily killed 6 of them near my base on herbivore island on my sarco.

Anyways that’s all from me on these annoyances.

I just found out. In mobile, you can get unlimit prime fish meat from scrape this big fish.

How:

If you scrape it and get prime fish meat then logout the game and login again. It will reset the waiting time to scrape and it will always be prime fish meat.

50× prime fish meat per time

They can spawn at surface areas at the bottom south, even near the shore with all the rocks.

One was unfortunate enough to spawn and get stuck on a rock, so i have a trapped Leed with no effort involved.

You might find one there too, if your lucky.

PLANT SPECIES X!!!! Slows them right down. Put one on the back of your raft and not even the alpha can get you unless it comes from straight under. Add a ballista and a captain hat as well for added effect.

Imagine this: leedsichthys tameable and rideable. They can harvest metal and oil. They had a platform saddle. They could swallow fish hole and carry them around alive. WELL THEY ARENT TAMABLE! They would be op as a tame.

Prime meat can be harvested from this without killing it
