When attached, they provide radiation protection, emit light, and offer a charge-based defense against Nameless, making them useful for exploring hazardous areas and gathering resources such as Rock Drake eggs. However, they may drain health or stamina and cause illness, while wild Lampreys can latch onto survivors or tames; have a tribemate remove them or use a campfire if alone.
