I learned that these guys have damage reflection the hard way! I went to Spain attack it with my level 208 2500 health Petra and it just stole its soul from its body. It wasn't even high level only a level 20!

These guys may be rare but once you’ve tamed up a good breeding pair, you have yourself one of the best base defence dinos in the game. Or you can make them follow you around as bodyguards when you go on journeys on land.

While battling a lone kentrosaurus or even a herd it is highly advised to use ranged weapons. Due to the kentrosaur’s slow movement speed and ability to reflect moderate melee damage using hand held weapons and attacks with smaller dinos can cause serious destruction to you and your tames.

These little guys are basically the defensive version of the kaprosuchus. They have an "impale" effect that picks up small creatures and holds them while they take damage. Wonderful for pesky raiders trying to get into your base, and also serve as a mobile spike wall.
