Cannons are so much easier the catuples use a cannon is a 1 shot

MAKE SURE and hit the crab in the top of its body, on the top of its back, anywhere else will kill it. Use a catapult and it should do an animation when hit in the sweet spot, pace your shots to about 10 seconds between each!

400 torp every boulder. (Use a magnifying glass to check his stats while youre trying). You need to be expecting a few misses because the hitbox on this is cancer. Seems like you cant let him drop beneath 1100-1200 health because he wont get angry and feed on you for health. Build him a pen with 3 unit hight, so when he runs he cant escape you. He can fit through a behemoth

What is the torpor for the cannonball and boulder vs the crab?

Sadly they cannot be carried by a quetz as stated, unless ontop of a platform saddle. Just a heads up.

When knocking out if it’s health gets to low and you can’t get it’s agro throw honey in front of it and a dead corpse so it will heal fast and then you can continue shooting it

The lowest level I would recommend taming is a 90.they have a good weight and damage, and it doesn't take long for its health to get to 20,000. Then, if you want, you can usually get it's damage to about 300%

Lvl 10 took 2 boulders from catapult to KO

You can one shot it with a one time with a cannon no matter the level but will have crap effectiveness or shoot it several times with a catapult and have great effectiveness

Level 100 took 1 cannonball to drop

Catapult to KO. Cannon can hurt efficiency. Torpor drops quick after each hit so keep hitting it on top of the shell fast. Have a friend magnifying glass it to watch health and torpor. Can easily do 5000 damage to it even if done correctly

Catapult and boulders, make sure you're trap has doors on it so other players can't kill it while you're taming it, even on pve... 5 dino gates and 1 behemoth gate is perfect. No spaces in between the dino gates. Pillar 5 high for the catapult
