Am I have encountered this thing yet and I’m not sure how powerful it is I’m level 152 and I have all tek stuff and I have all the tek armoured dinosaurs like it or not

Use a 3 by 3 and set up 3 ramps have a door and on the left and right of the ramps make the walls 2 high then across the ramps place the cannon/catapult on a roof then on the left and right of the cannon/catapult place walls and have at least 14/15 boulders or have 2/3 cannonballs

It can hold very big Dinos (players to) like I picked up a carno with it,a thorny dragon with it,a thysleo with it,sarcos With it!you can even pash them in the ground wen you pick up a Dino or person so hard IT KILLS THEM.-DJ Fox7222

I thought it was the bloodstalker on aberration. I found it in the water and thought it was a blood stalker but it was just a karkino up if this happened to you

I highly recommend taming for soaking bullets in pvp. Why they take more damage if hit on the legs well because people who are reading this tip you can pick up stegos or trikes to soak the bullets for your karkinos so technically not a soaker but very officiant at makeing other creatures soak for you I guess. When your done soaking yeet the creature’s you were soaking with into there base and let them do some damage and distract them while you break in and destroy the base. And if you don’t believe me I only post true information about creature’s I have ether tested or seen in game or in a yt video. Warning they get bounced back if shot by tek turrets. Everyone watch rassclark I saw his video on tanky tames which helped supply some of the information to be more pacific it was the warning about the tek turrets so you should definitely subscribe to rassclark if you haven’t already. So... the guys are really usfull you should pump up a lot of melee and stamina and its a great PvE creature, tho i don t consider it so usfull on PvP. U can tame it with a trap but never ever use a cannon on an under 100 lvl because he might get 1 shoted, remember that these guys are a damage dino not tank, so be really careful i recomand watching some youtube videos about trapping them and thats all.

A well imprinted karkinos with really high health can be effective against reaper queens since they don't get torpor from it's attacks and can jump away if you are about to get pushed into molten element of angry rock drakes and/or spinos just keep in mind your karkinos will probably get flung as soon as you dismount. Always make sure you have a glide suit so you can get back to your crab safely as megas and carnos will suddenly aggro on you. Also good for underwater exploration albeit it is not built for speed eels and cindaria will not aggro karkinos. Karkinos can also be used to tame just about anything sarcos or smaller since it can grab them and you can use a longneck/crossbow while mounted and it won't drop them when you dismount. Do not overestimate it's climbing ability it doesn't jump as high as it looks.

I dare you to tame with raw fish meat.

The karkinos is like a titanosaur but much weaker

I’m having trouble taming one I trap it with pillars and leave to make a catapult but when I come back he is somehow out
