What are tips for karkinos? Tips and strategies for karkinos in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Catapult to KO. Cannon can hurt efficiency. Torpor drops quick after each hit so keep hitting it on top of the shell fast. Have a friend magnifying glass it to watch health and torpor. Can easily do 5000 damage to it even if done correctly
Catapult and boulders, make sure you're trap has doors on it so other players can't kill it while you're taming it, even on pve... 5 dino gates and 1 behemoth gate is perfect. No spaces in between the dino gates. Pillar 5 high for the catapult
It will not try to jump out of a trap and it loses aggro if you touch water
Use stone gateways to trap it. I put a catapult on the back of a paracer and had a friend on a Dino to help get it stuck. Moved the paracer where it could hit the back easily.
Best way to knock out is whit a trap like wyverns trap, and a cannon on the front. 1 shoot and krakinos is KO. Good Tames
It says it can’t but it will fit through a behemoth gateway
Make a cage for them there a bunch on most Ab servers but people lock them good luck tameing
Trap in stone gates and shoot it in the back with a cannon
Boulder torpor is instant! As soon as you hit this thing the torpor jumps and immediately starts going down again. Try not to take too long between your catapult shots.
Can go over pillars that are 3 walls high. I needed 5 walls high pillars. (used Structures+)
Easiest tame on Abberration for knockouts. Use a catapult and small trap(stops them from walking, they just spin around). Hit them in the back for good torpor. Once they start to flee(not fighting), wait til they pause to hit them one more time in the back for the win.
You must use a catapult to knock and tame it.
Use a slign shot to agro so you don't accidentally kill the crab when trying to tame with catapult.
Quetzal can carry the Karkinos.
Best way to knock out take it in a stone gate way and block it in than catapult it
Why isn’t it in wiki that u need to use catapult and torpor rates of said catapults
We trapped several of these but was very difficult. Several times they would see the trap and turn around, run, and you could not get agro back. The ones we did trap would not agro once in the trap. Did WC implement some sort of trap avoidance BS?
Once we had it in the trap, we could walk under it and around it, punch it, no agro.
Anyone got a taming tip for these that actually works? Damn near impossible to hit in the right spot when its moving.
If you can get the right angle you can use a cannon to 1 hit KO this creatures then all you gotta do is tame them
