You can Bola these on mobile. And they are easy to tame

how to get a kapro on mobile:

1: sit in swamp with your club

2: bola it while your in its mouth

3: knock it out with club and or traq arrows

4: feed it, give narcotics if necesary

5: have it follow you home

6: watch your oversized croc devour you enemys

When you find one try not to get to close and then try to lure it to a safer place of carry it with a arg and then you can knock it out and feed it prime or reqular meat or find swamp creatures to get meat and prime

Trap them with rocks they get stuck easily

Get grabbed, then punch or shoot until unconscious. Shove food down its throat until it loves you.

I have at least found they’re not hard to kill. I hit one a bunch with a primitive club till it was knocked out. Sarco chased me away before I could tame it. (I’m like level five it was level 10ish)

Due to their rather basic AI once aggro'd from higher ground they will simply run into the wall attempting to jump at you (pick a decently high vantage point to knock out)

Jumpscare creature taming guide:

1. Find one

2. If you ever get kidnapped by it, hit it with a club or shoot tranq arrows

3. Once knocked out, feed it meat

4. wait till its done taming

Hard when you’re on Genesis 2 the shadowmane we’ll kill you and your tame

Throw a bola at it then go from behind so it will not hit you and then go off on it😤😤

If you want to tame these in a taming box, make sure your taming box has a ceiling around the edges with a center opening as they can glitch with their leaps and leap often higher than 3 or even 4 walls. A wild one leaped at my wall but jumped up 7 walls onto my base :( my flying tames were killed later.

I know ITS annoying in the swamb If this f***er pulls Up but If you tamed IT and lvl stamina ITS fun you can yeet around the whole Map (almost)

How to tame

Step 1 get a Belzebufo (they are affected by bolas)

Step 2 get tranq ammo

Step 3 shoot the Kaprosuchus

Step 4 Dodge the Kaprosuchus’ leap

Step 5 Knock out, tame, and saddle

IT WAS REALLY EASY!!!! Ihave ascendent bow i knocked it out easily and it was purple i knocked out a level 140 just get to a high place where they cant reach like a big rock in the swamp

DO NOT PICKUP WITH ARGENTAVIS. I did this and while I was flying it over to my taming pen, it somehow knocked me off. It was attacking me all the way to the ground. Luckily wasn’t very high level so I was able to kill it before it killed me.

Pick it up with an argy and have a friend knock it out while still holding it. Its a quick tame with prime meat. It is probably my favorite ground mount, and it can pick up anything a ptera can with its mouth!

How tame on Valguero/Fjordur

Step 1 Get a Crossbow with tranq/toxicant arrows

Step 2 get a Deinonychus (a parasaur can scare them away)

Step 3 Hatch & saddle your new Deinonychus

Step 4 Find a Kaprosuchus

Step 5 Start shooting from your Deinonychus (Kaprosuchus can’t knock u off a Deinonychus)

On mobile you can pick these up with an argy I tried and kill many of them
