First make sure you have 5 or so tranq arrows and if you have any pet put them on neutral then fire the tranq arrows at it have fun taming

I know people deem it annoying but hear me out guys

they're fast in water and land

and decrease enemy stamina

so you can use them for taming ANYTHING fast

maybe not Gallimimus but yk what I mean

maybe Yuty

they also pick up small stuff

heres how i tame kapros:

1. Put a bow/crossbow in the hotbar and ready about 20+ tranq arrows (more arrows if higher level)

2. Use a flying creature to go to a cliff next to a swamp (or just land on a rock or high ground)

3. Shoot at the kapro and make it aggro you and once it starts to follow you and starts running into a wall which is because ur on high ground, start shooting at it and if it runs away it means its’ torpidity is high enough

4. Once it goes unconscious give it raw fish meat or raw meat if you dont have kibble or prime meat, along with a few narcotics too (50+ narcotics maybe)

5. boom u have a tamed kapro

Why cant you pick theese stupid things on ps4 up the only thing who can lift it is a fricking Tusotheutis ark why wheres the logic a cristal wyvern can pick up a sarco who is much bigger than a kapro but the kapro cant be lifted 😂😂😂🙌well done ark well done

In ark mobile kaprosuchus can be carried by argentavises

A pretty good tame for beginners. They're a bit slow, however their jumping attack is lightning fast and can pick up small creatures. Mind to put a few points in stamina when you tame one.

Just set a large bear trap, kite a croc with a flyer, get it stuck, then just tranq it out. Ps: Clear the swamp trees around you, they completely harass your vision and you don't want a snake or another kapro to ambush you

Steps to tame a kapro 1equip flack armor and get tranquilizer darts and longneck rifle 2 let it grab you 3 shoot it in the head till it’s unconscious 4 give it meat and you tamed a kapro.but you should tame these I have a level sixteen kapro and it killed a trike in three jump attacks

If you use gilli you can sneak up and when the kapro jumps u dodge it and then hit it with dart

I used to let them catch me in their mouths then punch them unconscious. Effective but not recommended for very low level

I hate des things they kill me in my pets all the time man

A standard pitfall trap does work on these guys. Getting them in the trap is a challenge, even with a Ptera or Argy because of their leaping ability

How to tame a Kapro

1. Kill its friends for safety reasons

2. Put a decent distance between you and Mini sarco or get high ground

3. Tranq mini sarco

4. Feed mini sarco

5. If necessary feed narcotics

Also with normal meat the tame thingy Nobby only goes up by like 8%

I was hunting with my pack of dilos and a couple (mate boosted) attacked us! My dilos killed the female but I ended up knocking out the male with my fists since my spear broke. I tamed him and he is very useful for hunting

Super easy first tame for scorched earth, just find some lakes (at maps low point) where they usually are, wait for them to attack some creatures and hop onto a rock with a side that’s steep enough the Karoo can’t hop onto the rock itself, then just beat the heck out of it with a boomerang, I found two, one got killed in the process and had a metal pick! First day already got metal tools, a good base area and a level EIGHTY kapro, I’d say that’s a pretty good start

In mobile u can Bola them but they can still jump at u and chomp ur head off like it did to me

Best buddy to get when living near the swamp

Easy to knock out,can find a ton of them and very easy to tame

You can tame it wtih the any kind of meat

I suggest just knocking it out and giving it about 40 normal meat cuz after you knock this guy and a sarco out it’s basically just give it a stack of meat and protect it while it eats but cheek it’s torpidity every now and then and feed it narcotics and things that increase torpidity plus they are great hunters if you hunt with them and a frog witch is what I do and I killed a baryonix and another one of these in a few minutes my one is lvl 45 and his name is fang and I’m proud to be his owner UwU
