In mobile you CAN pick it up with an argentavis.

There’s an area near the swamp and Weathertop that’s in a clearing next to a lake that also great for gaming beelzebufo, but what you can do is try to lure a kapro out of the swamp and into this area, get up on a ledge that’s nearby and pump it full of tranqs. Was able to tame my first kapro like this.

If they grab u in there mouth u can nock them out with fist 😀

ATTENTION ALL ARK MOBILE PLAYERS!!! YOU CAN NOT BOLA A KAPROSUCHUS ON MOBILE!!! Works just fine on every other version, just not on mobile. Up so noobs don’t make the same mistake I made.

i just tamed a white one of these but it was. H E L L dude. I died 100 times. Please go prepared and not like me who just goes with a stego (survived with a stego) up so noobs can see!

One of the easiest ways I have found to tame these guys is to deliberately get snatched and then knock it out. I have seen tips that talk about using your fists or club, but you can also use tranq arrows just fine.

Do note that you need a decent amount of health and preferably chitin armour or up. Though at some point when the Kapro would 'run away', it will also stop damaging you while you remain in its mouth. Then you do what you gotta do, which is shove meat down it's toothy gob!

For low level kapros, pump melee and health and make a club, wait in the swamp for one to jump you, and once in its mouth bash it’s head until it sleeps and use local dragonflies and dodos to feed it and boom! Great early game tame- tropeognathus guy

So finding these guys in a swamp is pretty easy as they will pounce at you and drag you around like a rag doll. They have a venomous bite but when you get at least 4 levels of fortitude the bite should have no effect on you. If your playing in console or pc DO NOT use a bola because they will not work on the other hand, for mobile players, the bola will work on these guys. So for console and pc, taming these guys will need a club or you can punch it (tranq arrows are optional), at least some type of armor if you don’t have health leveled up high enough, and some servings of raw meat or kibble (40 or more raw meat is recommended).

The steps for console and pc are:

1. Go to a swamp (on the island)

2. Run or walk up to it

3. Let it kidnap you

4. Either punch it or hit it with your club, you may even be able to get some shots in with the bow

5. Once you knockout put the taming food in it’s inventory

6. Protect it from other, aggressive animals

7. When it’s finished taming, enjoy your very own Kaprosuchus

For mobile you will need a club or fists to knockout the dang thing (tranq arrows are also optional), one or two bolas to keep the thing in place so it can’t attack you, some type of armor (yes, again) if health is not leveled up, and kibble or raw meat to tame it.

The steps for mobile are:

1. Find a Kaprosuchus (I don’t know where the spawn on mobile)

2. Throw the bola at it and if it breaks out of the bola while knocking it out throw the other bola if you have one (The kidnapping method above will work too)

3. To knock it out either hit it with your fists or club, even better using the bow and tranq arrows

4. Once knocked out, feed it the the taming food

5. Protect it from other aggressive animals

6. Once tamed, enjoy your very own Kaprosuchus

Hoped this helped someone tame a Kaprosuchus and if it did please up this so other players can tame one too.

Bringing these guys to a base far away is a pain because:

1: The swamps have TONS of hostile dinos, and wild Kapros will attack your tamed one.

2: They’re weaker than Sarcos and probably even have less health than Beezulbufos

3: Slow when tamed so can’t outrun Therizinosaurs or any hostile dinos nearby rivers or mainland

if you want one of these, i suggest putting on OP armor and letting it bite you (while you shoot it IN THE HEAD with tranqs). this way it cannot kill you bc u have unlimited hp. shouldn’t take many tranqs. i actually takes thsi thinking it was a sarco... but whatever it’s cool to use anyways.

Once you have a sword the swamp is your playground trust me I’ve killed almost everything that lives there.

Here's the best tip to tame this on ark mobile

1. Go to a swamp that has a clip

2.shoot the kapro

3.shoot until it knocks out

4.feed it raw meat or raw prime meat

These stuff are pretty easy to tame find one I revomond using an sarco they will priotise you over it put sarco on passive go on rock or get grabbed and start trainqing if it's an high level bring armour just incase there aren't any rocks TT o stand on so u have to let it grab u

If you're somewhere in mid game and have unlocked the bear trap, use it on one of these buggers. Then, either kill 'em or tranq 'em. Your choice.

1. Go to the swamp

2. Get ambushed by the kaprosuchus

3. Die

4. Go there again

5. Die

6. Level up for hours

7.Get op

8. Go to swamp Set traps ( large traps )

9. While traped tranq it

10. Feed its fav food

11. You got your kaprosushus. :D

Get a friend or tribe member to catch and hold it with a argy above your base or pen and trank dart it or trank arrows

There one of the coolest tames to me because I like gators 🐊

This was funny story and I lived to tell it I flyer low with pteranodon because I use my argy a lot and got jumped by one because I flew low kapros do have candy but it’s hard candy if your flying low to swamp your gonna get kidnapped like when Godzilla murdered 3 of his friends by throwing em

Best ways to tame a low one too high one

Step1:find a low level one

Step2:shoot it(bow tranq arrows or cross bow)or punch it

Step3:feed it at least kibble or raw prime meat to tame faster(No narcotics needed)

Step4:Once tamed craft it a saddle unlocks at lvl 44 or 43 and you can use it too tame a high lvl one
