Had a quetz grab it & dropped it into a stone taming pen made of stone window walls & a dino gate. Tamed a level 25 with prime no issues. Not a horrible torpor but should still be watched carefully.

I found that if you let them grab you then fire one tranq arrow into their head from a crossbow will instantly knock them out. Just make sure you have high health. I tamed two of these that way.

Get your self grab by it punch it only worked for low levels.

You'll laugh but the way I tamed mine was to shoot it and let it grab me. This way it also helped that when he ran due to torpor too high he took me with. No chasing. Armor up and have a buddy in case you get adds. They can help tranq too. Marsh is dangerous. Just a bit easier on scorched earth. Easier to see.

I hate these... sooooo much. I wish I had known that you can bola them while they're latched onto you. I could've tamed a max level instead of killing it.

To knock it out, let it grab you and punch it in the face with the club

Egg, Savoroot, Prime Jerky, 2 Mejos, 3 Fiber, and Water make kibble. It's not assigned to anything that I know of but easier to move around than the eggs are.

These things are the most deadly things in the swamp, for they will come out at you when you least expect it. They are fast, and reasonably powerful as well, and well worth the tame. I was lucky and tamed a lvl 7 the first time I saw one.

The best way to knock out one of these is to air lift it to a taming pen with a argent or quetz. Then use a longneck to knock it out to tame it

When taming one effective strategy solo is to let it grab you and shoot it, hard to miss but req higher up and at least flak armor

The best way to tame is with bolas or argy. Also do not tame in the swamp!!!

Pick up with quetzal or argy and have someone tranq it while you hold it. Get prime and tame it. Easiest way

Great little dino for pearl farming, be sure to have it on close follow while harvesting pearls, to avoid it floating to surface. While tranqing, be careful, this guy will rip you from your saddle!

The Kaprosuchas was only have down on torpor at the five minute mark so it looses have as fast as the towel root times said

Put this creature inside a taming pen and then put a tranq into its head wait ten second so it again then keep doing that until it knocks out then starve tame it whilst you get all the prime meat or kibble
