Pick it up with an argy and have a friend knock it out while still holding it. Its a quick tame with prime meat. It is probably my favorite ground mount, and it can pick up anything a ptera can with its mouth!

In raids the kaprosuchus can be very powerful at picking off snipers at a high point with its leaping attack or even lone survivors just spawning in. It is pretty fast in land and water which could allow for deep sea raids in caves.

The kaprosuchus can use its leap underwater as well as on land to grab unsuspecting creatures that are smaller than itself. Overall it's a good creature to us whilst trying to pick off unsuspecting players or animals as well as gathering food for your tribe.

Why are these so fast? It’s very annoying I was very close to dying to one I was taming a raptor and my back was turned to it and it almost killed me my health was at 32

How tame on Valguero/Fjordur

Step 1 Get a Crossbow with tranq/toxicant arrows

Step 2 get a Deinonychus (a parasaur can scare them away)

Step 3 Hatch & saddle your new Deinonychus

Step 4 Find a Kaprosuchus

Step 5 Start shooting from your Deinonychus (Kaprosuchus can’t knock u off a Deinonychus)

Wasn’t able to pick any up with Tropical Crystal Wyvern while they were on land/water. I thought maybe I sucked but picked up other Dino’s fine. Maybe it has something to to with the tropical wyvern or maybe the map, the center.

On mobile you can pick these up with an argy I tried and kill many of them

Best way to knock out is to get grabbed by one then punch it with your bare fists. I got like 30 by doing this and my tribe is called baby snatchers cause we own a bunch of maewings.

I tamed one when I was level 12🥵

Kapros are surprisingly good early game I recommend getting one as soon as you unlock the shield they can save you from raptors and provide as a fast early water tame for rivers

Quick way to tame one is to sacrifice a small creature that can take a few hits to put it into a trap doesn't need to be anything crazy wood will work but there is a chance it will break free another more dangerous method is to build a foundation place a bear trap on it and stand there with a shield then pump it with tranqs not very reliable though best used for low levels

How to tame

Step 1: find the croco

(Mobile taming) get on a cliff or a big rock start hitting it with tranq arrows then when it is knocked out feed it meat then in the middle of taming put some raw prime meat to make it easier use a bola then start hitting it with tranq arrows.

Kaprosuchus : SUPRISE

me: * knocks out the kaprosuchus with a bola with little hp on me ands trys to tame it using fish meat *

First time I saw one of these I was on my raptor and it jumped at us, it dragged my raptor into the swamp water and I ran as fast as I could to save him, managed to knock it out and I was like “this things pretty strong and scary” so I tamed it, I named her socks :p

On official, with an ascendant crossbow, I was able to knock a level 140 out while he had me in his jaws. Easiest tame ever. (Was wearing full fur besides a riot chest)

You must go swarm with triceratop

Make sure you have a whip on you at all times. If they grab you whip it and it will let you go.

Your able to punch these guys out.(if your willing to die once.) When you come back from the dead continue punching and he or she will be out like a baby.

These things do not inflict much damage but they grab you and then bring you to their friends

Always be SUPER careful, these dinos can easily jump on you even if you are in the air.
