Me and my 146 Gigga took out 10 of tgese while i tranked 4 killed a bunch of sarcos and now i have tamed them. Really good for movement especially the jump but absaloutely terrible weight.

I managed to tame one using a high level beelzebufo (not too much higher level than the kapro otherwise its attacks will kill it, alternatively you could probably use a lower level one and level all points into health) because my frog was able to knock it unconcious. I could have tamed the other one that was in the area, but it was busy knawing at my legs and I panicked.

So while you're being lovingly caressed, have your beelzebufo on neutral and both you whacking it with a bat and your frogs attacks *should* knock it out before you die. Just make sure no other sarcos or anything are in the area. (Protip: jump while mounted on your froggo and you'll dodge a kapros lunge. It'll give you enough time to at least put a tranq dart/arrow into it to get the ball rolling)

I grabbed with my argy ( I play mobile) and put it in a pre-made taming pen. Use stone, these guys can break wood. (Learned that the hard way)

ALERT! These things can be immobilised by a bola I tried it one because it pounced on me and it got immobolised

You can tame with just meat. I used 79 meat

Smaller and weaker but way faster than the sarco. But not impossible to tame them. They usually hang around in swamps. They usually hunt with sarco by their side so kill the sarco and spam tranq arrows from high and dry ground since these thing can jump. Have normal meat or fish meat with you beforehand so you waste less time trying to find fish while you keep running back and keep feeding it bio toxin or narcotics. Once you knock it out place spike walls around you to prevent its friends or titan boas from disturbing you and feed it food until it gets tamed. If you have a flying mount with you I suggest you fly back first and then request for the kappa when you get back to your base. Now you have your own dog-like croc under your command now! Without a doubt my favorite tame in all of ark. They are great in everything except for their health, which is trash. So put almost all your points in health, then lightly sprinkle some in melee if you want. But because they have such bad health, trap them in a cage so animals won’t kill it while it’s knocked out. That happened to me FIVE TIMES.

When going to the swamp bring a pump shotgun with plenty of shells. It you are taken shoot it a couple is times and it’s a goner.

Get a good high lvl trike to take these guys out

When you’re in the swamps nowhere is safe. They will pounce on you from nowhere and kill you quicker than a strobe light. Bring a high level Rex

don’t try to pick them up with argentavis (which I did on mobile). Anyway they can still kidnap you off your mount even if you pick it up with a argentavis,this thing absolutely ripped me off my bird.

For example, I was going to tame a kaprosuchus and it pounce on me12 times and bro yet Ted me 16 feet away from it like it was just a stinking Thor and after I tamed it…… it full on went Showa Godzilla animation by slick mode on anything in its path also like a NARUTO JITSU OR TRIPPING GOKU WITH A NUCLEAR REACTOR OR KYAMEAMEA AS ITS HEART

Honestly, all I did was when it grabbed me. I hit in the head with a bat.

And then fed it meat It was only a level three though.

Best way to tame is to get a club, then you go plop down in the swamp you have to make sure there are no titanboas nearby. Also you have to level up heath and melee damage(melee just a little bit). Wait for a Kapro to grab you in its jaws. Once it has you it can’t let go. So just bash it in the head with your club. I tamed a level 79 this way. I had around 300 health and 130% melee damage.

If you ever get grabbed by this weirdly deformed alligator, follow these instructions: 1. Pee your pants 2. Take out ur bat 3. Call ur homies in 4. Mug it until it’s dust 5. Walk casually away

These guys can deal good damage to Doeds even after they ball up. Found out today by accident.

Easiest way I’ve found, throw poop to slow it down and tranq from a distance

They are not just in swamps. They exist in ragnarok near the desert where the river in the southeast! I thought they only existed in swamps… Wrong RIP Raptor

Kill at first sight so stay away or get a bigger mount they are wishis bot really easy to kill with a strong large mount
