Taming a Kapro takes a long time. Kapro are found at swamps

You can’t pick it up with a argie only quetsel or wyvern.

The easiest way to tame these guys is by actually letting it grab you from off your mount and shoot it with arrows or darts. Just make sure that you have atleast have really good chitin armor or flack. Space your shots so that it doesn't kill the thing, because they leave low health, even for high levels. I recommend taking a Baryonyx as a mount unless you have something similar that can stand in the swamp water because you can drown. Doesn't take much to take these guys, just be careful and make sure to get them out of there asap because low hp. Have fun with the gator dog.

Nothing works to trap them, they can't be tamed. They jump out of plant species y and can reach a maximum vertical jump height of 2000ft

The beat way to kill them is a metal melee weapon and a tamed kapro

Killing the Kapros are easy to do as long as you manage to get onto its back and stab it repeatedly with a sword or if you’re lower on level just keep shooting tranquil arrows and order all your pets to finish it off. But beware find and stay on high ground ASAP these things jump out of the water and pounces on you with knock back attacks and is way more agile than sarcos and often stick around in sarco packs of about 3-4 or more. So if you’re travelling near a swampland and you see these things jumping out of the water. Remember what I said.

So u may think they are cute but they are bloody annoying leapers that leap out at u they will carry u in their mouth until u die also don have ur carno on passive I learnt that the hard way

When jumping you can pick up dinos the size of dilos and or smaller idk if bigger

When they jump they do damage,use stamina,harvest bodies and you can shoot off of them

When they jump it uses stamina

Bruh these guys can kidnap you through a window frame and they will.Bruh one time I was traveling in the swamp and a kapro tried murdering me and it did.

Don’t tame these it’s not worth it the first kapro I tamed I was able to bring back to my base but it got murdered by phiranhas. After that I tamed a male and female in the swamp, they never were able to leave the swamp

I found that if you stand on the back of a spino on a flat area the kapro has not been able to jump high enough to snatch me up like a wig in a Walmart parking lot after someone picked a fight with a drag queen over toilet paper. Just stand up there take your cross bow shoot them a few times and put your kibble or meat of choice in its inventory to easily tame. (Just make sure that you don't accidentally fall off the spino as it doesn't have the best area to stand on while doing all this.)

Kapros are food for early games, but in mid to late game, they're pretty much outshined by Sarcos

Kapros are dangerous where a gillie suit and find a kapro dont go to close or we grab and send you to the swamp keep hitting him make sure he is not in the swamp or if he run dont let it go in the swamp or you lose the tame when he is knocked out put some raw meat or fish meat in his inventory and you have a kapro

Personally, I like these guys even better than sarcos. Their speed and agility make them good on land as well as water, their smaller size makes them easier to maneuver, and their grab attack is amazing.
