A pretty simple tame for people on SE. All you need is a good leveled Raptor, and a Boomerang. Go towards the Kapro, and when it’s about to grab you, let it grab the Raptor by stepping behind your tame. Set the Raptor on passive, and it can tank through with a primitive saddle. I’ve tamed 3 Kapros this way, and my Raptor has never died.

It just really baffles me that this little hellion can't be bola'd yet BARYONYX can...

If you are taking these in the swamp kill sneks and crocs for easy prime

They will eat everything. Sarcos are dilos and these ones are “ Rexes” of my swimming pool

They'll bite you and snatch you off of your current dino.

What's a good trap for these things

If you see it jump at you, just sidestep? Circle and stab, yo. No problem.

I wanna kill or tame one, I am too scared to lose my pteranodon from them, there is a swamp near my home. Plz send help

Kaprosuchus dinos are very territorial and very strong.

Carry the pump shotgun with AT LEAST 20 rounds reserved especially for these guys. I took down a level 87 with two head shots after he grabbed me. Aim for the head if you see them on approach. If granted I'm pretty sure the damage area for the head is all around so you don't need to aim at the head. Just shoot.

To tame be sure to have a bait, I bet dodo's can do since kaprosuchus stalks smaller preys.

A terrifying creature. I finally got an Argy and picked one up to carry to my taming pen, and it picked me off my bird mid-air. I have tamed a Giga solo, but I still don't have a Kapro....

When taming use a bola. Super effected and makes poor kappy immobile. However avoid being in front of it bc it can still pounce you if you're close. I learned the hard way as my soon to be kapro decided to take me on a tour in the swamp.

Tamed a level 145 by carrying with argy from swamp to my base. Picked it out the water pretty easily. Whilst it was starving, I went for another... was carrying it out and it somehow managed to dismount me when I was carrying it! I feel into the pond below the floating island on the Center map. Got killed by a pack of megalodon and mantas. My guess is that the way the argy held it meant it could dismount me. Don’t underestimate it!

Taming a Kraprosuchus is almost the most hardest thing if your not lucky

There's plenty in swamps. I tried to go for an Argy talon kill on one but it grabbed me off of my bird from underneath its talons and took me down to all its slimy friends on the ground. Be wary before grabbing.

They are basically a body with four springs as legs. It’s too OP but can die really easy. Really low health
