Pick one up with an argy that has high hp and stam then carry it to a taming pen. Worked for me on mobile.

I mean its not that scary. It just jumps in your face poisoning u and it wont let u go till you kill it or bola it. And it rips off ur mount very easily

They are basically a mini karkinos in terms of utility you can grab dinos and shoot them off the back of the kapro and also use them to tame bigger dinos but it's hard because kapros are slow and have had health the biggest dino they can grab is raptor

If you’re ever going to the swamp, take a whip. If you get grabbed you can whip them to release you.

Nasty kidnapping buggers who aren’t terribly dangerous by themselves once you acquire some 00-Buck to feed them. The problems start when they drag you into something much worse.

On mobile when you look down and jump at the same time they hump really far

To tame it you need a bow or a slang shot get on a rock that it can’t get you then start to shot when it starts to runaway chase it and shot it at the same time

Build a trap, if you have an argentvis just build a trap without a ramp cuz argys can carry these guys when you finally got them with an argy just drop them in the trap you built and start knocking it out with a tranq arrow or dart,you can feed it with raw meat or prime meat or kibble if you want it to tame faster, just kill titanoboas (they have prime meat) with your argy since they live on the same area as kapros

As soon as it grabs you,hit it hard.I almost got destroyed by 3 of them.you can't use ANY tranquilizers while grabbed,just pray your flyer is alive...

They can jump over huge rocks! Almost lost a ptero to one

When I was pretty new to ARK I was hunting in the swamp with my raptor and pteranodon and I saw this. I thought it was a sarco from a distance but as I approached I realized it was way too small and figured it was a kapro (I would browse dododex when I was bored and look at the dinos, so j knew a good number of them). I set my dinos to passive and decided to tame it but then this mad lad leaps out of the lake and uses me as a chew toy. Luckily, I was in a single player server with high modifiers and low difficulty, so the tranq arrows I fired while he was in midair kicked in and he just went out. Still gave me a heat attack and I named him Bad Dog

I highly recommend counting on being dragged off by one of these guys, stay away from the water even on a tall mount, the lower you go, the higher the chances of you being knocked off your mount and dragged off into the water. Have a sword or bolas, I usually go with the sword option as you can just go on to kill it immediately.

The higher your Melee the better your chances of killing them with little damage taken. I've fought them off easier with the sword.

Avoid Dinos that are low to the ground cause they will snatch right off... Just avoid the swamps until you have the appropriate equipment and armor to deal with Dinos in the swamp. These guys are worse than Sarcos.

If he most annoying devils I ever had to deal with but what I do is usually kill boas until I get iron spear or make one and bam they have no power over me until a swarm of reptiles are in the swamp u would not believe today I had to deal with a gang there where sarcocs boas and theses devils I had to bait them away from my body just to get my stuff back

A really good exploration mount, you can go pretty much everywhere and run away from danger really fast. With a good kapro, using a running away-jumping technique you will be able yo kill really big creatures in an epic way!

These guys will ruin your day when they sneak out of the swamp water and bite your a**

They can be carried by Argys

Kapros will jump at you and drag you under the water. For a time you will be immobilized. Good to keep a few guardians around when hunting them.

You can Bola these on mobile. And they are easy to tame

how to get a kapro on mobile:

1: sit in swamp with your club

2: bola it while your in its mouth

3: knock it out with club and or traq arrows

4: feed it, give narcotics if necesary

5: have it follow you home

6: watch your oversized croc devour you enemys
