If you have high health and or armor whistle your mount passive first. Then use a spy glass to look for the one you wish to tame. Make sure there are no other Kapros around. If there are snipe them dead then allow the Kapro that you want to tame to knock your off your mount, make sure your mount is following you, and begin shooti n g it with tranq darts or arrows until its asleep then put prime meat in its inventory or mitten.

I think these are only really good for PvP and they’re really good at that but the only use on PvE is to get around quickly

Ahhhh the craprosuchus. Despite being incredibly annoying in the wild they’re EXCELLENT tames. They can be a good alternative to baryonyx for caving and they’re generally good. My tamed kapros have saved my life multiple times. Good luck getting one away from the swamp without getting absolutely tackled by it though 👀

As soon as I saw this tiny little monster, I was like “imma tame this thing!” I pick it up with my quetzal, then as I’m about to take it back to base to knock it out, it Somehow Jumps out of my quetzals grasp, GRABS ME, and then I get eaten by titanboas. They are very dangerous!! D:

Bruh just let it jump at you and use your bat to knock it out

These things are absolute nightmares. Even in a metal building on a raft with submerged footings these things jump straight through wall and mess u up. They then get stuck in you raft giving u hours of enjoyment trying to get it back!!!

On scorched earth these are very useful

They can grab raptors and the raptors attack for you, this can also be used as an efficient way to tame raptors without risking death as long as you’re riding the kapro, because it will kill your teammates if they get near

A shotgun and sword are your best weapons for these guys, shotgun to make sure you hit them, and sword if they grab you.

If your petty like me then know that these can be used to kill death worms with surprising efficiency mine beat one half to death but I had to retreat as I was starving to death I may post a tiptorial on how but spoiler alert it takes a hella long time but u can lessen it three fold with a crossbow

For pvp get a shotgun and ride this around and grab players and shoot em

How to tame on The Lost Island DLC

Step 1 Get a belzebufo (they can be immobilized by bolas)

Step 2 Get tranq ammo (u can shoot off the back of a frog)

Step 3 Dodge the Kaprosuchus’ leap (repeat if required)

Step 4 Knockout, tame, and Saddle the Kaprosuchus

When they lunge they apply a stamina drain on enemies so they slow down allowing you to escape if you’re in trouble this is also helpful to let regain stamina and lunge again or not get knocked out
