In the middle of a fierce war against the dodo and the lystro for cutest ARK creature, the kairuku, or penguin is a pretty cool dude xD. They work as mini heaters, which is great for the cold north, or just the cold nights. They are probably the best snuggle buddies, cuz they're so warm. Also you can put ANY helmet on them, to make them super cute. Penguin fashion show anyone? Oh yeah, an army of these things also makes for some epic underwater battles, they're like little torpedos! They are very cumbersome on land, but underwater they are like dimorphodon, kinda.

If your going to be UTILIZING these little white and black feathered demons you need to be prepared to wait many hours or just a few (I’m on day like 119 or something like that so I don’t know that much about them) you need to make sure that 1: they don’t get attacked and killed by wild animals, and 2: USE A SWORD

Reason 1: if they are about to be attacked you can rely on your trusty sword to kill what ever is about to kill them off before you do.

Reason 2: the sword is 2nd best tied with first place for most efficient gatherer for the desired polymer both being at 4.9 rated.

One. Why the heck did the devs make baby penguins a source of poly

Two. Come on man! It’s a BABY PENGUIN there are other sources of organic polymer🔪🐧🚫

You can use bunch Achatina over kairuku for paste and organic polymer which produce it passively 1 per hour I believe and it need be fed cake. Kairuku can be Breed then slaughter with club for most amount of poly organic or go in wild to kill them

Ark basketball instructions:

(2x) 4 or 8 double doorframes,3 fences,1 wall,and 1 penguin,dodo,snail,ect.

(2x)Build the doorframes in a 1by1 square position ,(extendable by hight),put a wall on top of one and the fences on the rest of them

If you don’t want to kill these guys for their polymer, there is a price to pay... Tame achatinas. I don’t want my cousin always grovelling in front of my face everytime I kill this cutie for their polymer. As a mobile player, I literally have a couple of hives for honey, which gives me no problem. I already tamed an achatina, so you who hate killing these guys can rest and tame achatinas.

They drop organic polymer. I go round slaughtering them for ghillie amour and repairs.

There eggs are a good source of food. They take a while to spoil and provide the same amount of food as cooked meat.

Using these for hatching eggs is a bit impractical as you need about 18 to cover most eggs.

Similar to Dodo birds, the Kairuku can be used to get a decent supply of eggs over time.

If you just want polymer just tame an Achatina. Let it accumulate its max of 100 Achatina paste then it will produce polymer. I can collect 100 every couple days.

On mobile they are broken I killed them and I got from a group of 5 I got 50 prime meat

I wonder if you can tame 2, breed them, and get infinite organic polymer.

Hard to see from high in the air, but useful for warmth if you want to live in a cold climate.
