Best way to get them is to kill the parents and adopt the babies - there are always loads of them.

1 find the bird 2 get a rifle loaded with shocking tranquilizers 3 come up behind it and shoot it in the head 4 give it meat5 after a little bit you have a little bird6please leave an up and thanks for looking at this.
DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS I DID. I hit headshots when trying to knock this oversized penguin out, and it died... Just remember to go for the body, and only use tranq DARTs, otherwise it will die, please share to others

They are so cute! I tamed one today and I named it Karri. She is a juvenile and very weak but still cute. If you kill baby or juvenile kairukus on purpose. I will find and burn your base in multiplayer.
YOU CAN PUT A REX BONE HELMET ON THEM!!!!!!
It might sound weird, but raw meat is actually better for taming them than raw fish (Dododex plz update your chart!)

Use a longneck with tranq darts to make sure you dont kill it and then kill the baby's around it for the raw prime so you get better taming effectivnes and save narcotics and time
