I use these little guys as a means to mass produce polymer. It doesn’t really matter what level they ate, what really matters is the amount of them you have. Along with giving you meat, prime meat, and polymer they are pretty prolific layers.🥚🥚🥚

To battle this creature, use a command to peacefully get the resources needed from it.

On ascended they don’t spawn on the ice bergs anymore, they stand on the cliffs and forests by the shore. I had success finding some on the ruins above the ice cave, and walking towards the east I found some in the forest and again on the shoreline that doesn’t have any cliffs.
