Tips & Strategies
These birds make a very good tame for a variety of reasons:
Firstly, as combat pets: working similar to a dimorphodon but underwater, capable of taking down even the largest creatures in a swarm, and also being able to wear hats for extra protection.
Secondly, as egg animals: their egg is as light as a dodo egg but slightly better food, and they're much easier to find than dodos in the snow.
Thirdly, as heating: they are brilliantly insulated to the point that they actually overheat even in their snowy home and radiate warmth, useful for keeping warm or hatching eggs.
Fourthly, as companions: they make good pets due to their appearance and ability to wear various hats
More Kairuku Utility Tips
Their sole purpose is to be killed for organic polymer, but you can tame and breed them for it:
Tame a whole bunch of them (you only need one male), and a dimetrodon and pelagornis.
Level the dimetrodon's melee damage a whole bunch and put it in a cage surrounded by penguins set to mating. Put the pelagornis in with them at set it to aggressive, the dimetrodon will incubate the penguin eggs and the pelagornis will immediately kill them when they hatch, free organic polymer factory.
Put a male in middle, at least three females surrounding it, put sloped ramps so fermented eggs fall down. Put something that has good weight reduction and or good farming for organic polymer, it will kill babies

Tame a bunch and make a penguin farm for poly. Nine females to one male works great. Set up a bunch of ACs and have them on wander when the babies hatch club them. Free poly within the comfort of your own base!

So I didnβt see this on the comments but they can be very useful.
1.they can incubate eggs like dimetrodons
2.they can be used as house pets and are very cute
3.they can calm you down and easy to kill and get prime meat,they really help

A swarm of these in the water teams up AMAZINGLY with a Baryonyx! Use the stun attack on Alpha Sharks or Alpha Carno and watch as your team of Tuxedo hitmen nips them into a surprised-looking skeleton. Its hilarious.
You can carry them on any flying mount and stay warm in the snow biome if you live there or need to collect resources because of there ability to warm up its surrounding area.

Just got a fabricator but you donβt have poly and you see how expensive it is no worry these things drop organic poly and can be used exactly like normal poly except organic poly can also make you look like bushranger from fortnite
