How to mass farm organic polymer:

1. Assemble a penguin killing duo consisting of an argy and a pelagornis (preferably both high level)

2. Prepare a high quality set of hide/chitin/flak armour to keep you warm. You can also just use fur armour but fur armour weighs a lot more than other types of armour

3. Get a wooden club and prepare at least 16 wood and 64 fibre to repair it (they break very quickly)

4. Get to the icebergs in the northwest of the island

5. Try to one shot kill every penguin since this way other penguins won’t run away

6. Harvest baby penguin bodies with your pelagornis. Harvest adult penguin bodies with your club. For juvenile and adolescent penguins, use either cuz they seem to be similarly efficient

7. If you’re on PC, load the organic polymer into the pelagornis until it gets slowed down due to weight, then load the remaining polymer into the argy. If you’re on mobile, load all of the polymer into the argy cuz the pelagornis’ 80% weight reduction for organic polymer does not work on mobile, but the 50% weight reduction of the argy does.

8. Enjoy your hundreds if not thousands of organic polymer.

9. You can also convert your organic polymer into normal polymer if you set your game to return all materials when you destroy a structure or casual mode if you’re on mobile. Just craft fridges with organic polymer and destroy them. The game will return normal polymer to you.

This is very useful if you have some blueprints that require an absurd amount of polymer or organic polymer (eg ascendent rocket launcher/assault rifle or ascendent gillie armour)

Idea:Kairuku can be grabbed by the leg by your left hand and used as a no durability scuba flippers

Use can use a wyvern to farm these for organic polymer, no need to even jump off! Totally speeds up the process so you can make it back to your base before freezing to death.

Where are these found specifically, I looked around where they supposedly spawn but never found any, please say they can be found above water because if not I’m gonna need to make more stuff.

Taming with tranq arrow is hard but now I got One of them just using asendent bow , apperantice bow and tranq arrows it's just almost worth it

If you dont have fur armor and want to tame/kill some of these, then just about everything can carry it, even pteranodons. So go to the arctic (with hide/cloth armor if you wanna reduce cold a little bit) with a pteranodon, then pick it up! Be mindful of direwolves and other dangerous creatures, though. To minimize the risk, go there with nothing in your inventory or hotbar, and just a pteranodon with a saddle. Then, you can pick them up and transport to your home/a warmer place. Good luck!

In the middle of a fierce war against the dodo and the lystro for cutest ARK creature, the kairuku, or penguin is a pretty cool dude xD. They work as mini heaters, which is great for the cold north, or just the cold nights. They are probably the best snuggle buddies, cuz they're so warm. Also you can put ANY helmet on them, to make them super cute. Penguin fashion show anyone? Oh yeah, an army of these things also makes for some epic underwater battles, they're like little torpedos! They are very cumbersome on land, but underwater they are like dimorphodon, kinda.

If your going to be UTILIZING these little white and black feathered demons you need to be prepared to wait many hours or just a few (I’m on day like 119 or something like that so I don’t know that much about them) you need to make sure that 1: they don’t get attacked and killed by wild animals, and 2: USE A SWORD

Reason 1: if they are about to be attacked you can rely on your trusty sword to kill what ever is about to kill them off before you do.

Reason 2: the sword is 2nd best tied with first place for most efficient gatherer for the desired polymer both being at 4.9 rated.

All u need is prime meat u can get prime from the low level penguin

You can use bunch Achatina over kairuku for paste and organic polymer which produce it passively 1 per hour I believe and it need be fed cake. Kairuku can be Breed then slaughter with club for most amount of poly organic or go in wild to kill them

How do we breed them on mobile without them moving is because I found a polymer farm but when I try to breed them they keep moving out of there spot someone please help

Kill the babies they give prime meat

For low level players.. here is the way I tamed a baby kairuku!!! ( on mobile )

1: get a flying mount

2: go to the tundra (normally kariuku’s are not near Rex’s or carnivores)

3: once u spot a baby swoop down on it and pick it up

4: take it home and set it down

5: I used tranq arrows. But if u have tranq darts it’ll work better.

6: get at least 3-4 arrows and shoot headshots, but before every shot CHECK ITS HEALTH!!!! It may die so if it’s below 35 health DONT shoot it again

7: once it is unconscious. Feed it the meat u have. I chose raw meat and it took about 10-15 seconds to tame

8: done!!! Now u have a kariuku

Question- can u take the penguins to hot weather or will the die???

(2x)Build the doorframes in a 1by1 square position ,(extendable by hight),put a wall on top of one and the fences on the rest of them
